Biographie
By his first marriage, to Sheila Sweet, Johnson had two children, tabletop games designer Jervis Johnson (b. 1959) and actress Sorel Johnson. His second wife was American actress Kim Novak, with whom he appeared in the film The Amorous Adventures of Moll Flanders (1965); they had no children. He also had another daughter, Jennifer Johnson, by his third wife, Marie-Louise Norlund, and a fourth child, Nicholas Johnson, by Françoise Pascal. Johnson then married Lynne Gurney on a beach in Goa, India, in 1989, following this with a discreet civil wedding at Kings Road, Chelsea in 2004.Johnson was the founder of It's a Green Green World, a global listing of environmentally friendly hotels.

En rentrant un jour de l'école, Bruno apprend qu'il doit quitter Berlin, car son père a reçu une promotion dans son travail. Celui-ci, un officier nazi remarqué par Adolf Hitler, est envoyé en Pologne pour diriger un camp d'extermination. Toute la famille doit alors déménager en Pologne. Bruno est très triste, car il doit quitter ses amis, sa maison qu'il aime tant, ainsi que Berlin. Arrivé dans sa nouvelle maison, Bruno n'a qu'une envie : rentrer. La nouvelle maison est triste et lugubre, et il s'y ennuie. Jusqu'au jour où il va apercevoir quelque chose d'étrange, derrière une épaisse forêt. Il voit des baraquements, un sol poussiéreux, des soldats, mais encore plus bizarre : des gens qui sont tous habillés de la même façon : d'un pyjama rayé. Peu de temps après, poussé par sa curiosité et son envie ardente d'exploration, Bruno va échapper à la surveillance de ses parents, traverser la grande forêt et se rendre au camp. En s'approchant de la clôture de barbelés, il rencontre un enfant juif de huit ans, comme lui, qui s'appelle Shmuel, et, malgré la clôture de barbelés qui les sépare, un dialogue va naître, avant de laisser place à une inébranlable amitié. L’innocence des deux enfants face à la triste réalité prend alors une tournure imprévisible.

In 1971, Camilla Shand (Olivia Poulet) meets Charles Windsor, The Prince of Wales (Laurence Fox) at a polo match. They get to know each other and begin dating. The relationship fizzles out when Charles travels overseas to join the Royal Navy in early 1973. Camilla immediately marries her ex-boyfriend Andrew Parker Bowles (Simon Wilson). Though Charles is hurt upon hearing about her marriage, they remain friends. Throughout their friendship Charles and Camilla hide their feelings for each other until 1979 when Lord Mountbatten (Richard Johnson) is murdered and Charles visits her more for emotional support. They re-ignite their romantic relationship during this period. Charles is now in his early 30s and his family and the British media begins calling him out to find a suitable bride. He meets Diana Spencer (Michelle Duncan) who the media falls in love with and they eventually get engaged. Although everyone is happy Charles is about to settle down, Charles and Camilla are not due to their feelings for each other, however, they end their relationship. The story ends with Charles and Camilla getting ready for his wedding in 1981, both looking grim while dressing up for the occasion.
