Ajouter à une liste de filmsEnga Veettu Pillai (English: Our Own Person) is a 1965 Indian Tamil film, directed by Chanakya. The film features M. G. Ramachandran in a double role while B. Saroja Devi, S. V. Ranga Rao, M. N. Nambiar play supporting roles. The film was a remake of the 1964 Telugu movie Ramudu Bheemudu which had N. T. Rama Rao in the lead role. The film was produced by Nagireddy and Chakrapani under the banner "Vijaya Combines". The soundtrack was composed by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy and lyrics were written by Vaali and Alangudi Somu.
The film is about the two look-alike twins who were separated at birth. One being a coward while another one being a courageous man. The rest of the film revolves around the twins whose paths are crossed when they meet each other. Shooting was mostly held at Vijaya Studios. The film was released in 1965 and ran for 100 days. This industrial record was beaten by Adimai Pen four years later. The film celebrated Silver Jubilee in 7 theatres and one of the another film achieved an all-time record, which broke all previous records of Tamil Cinema. This movie was taken in Eastman Color
Synopsis
Ramu (MGR) is the cowardly one – the heir to all riches of Poonjolai Jamin. He has been raised that way by his sister's husband Narendran (Nambiar). Ramu shivers at the very mention of his brother in law's name and a whiplash is Narendran's favorite form of punishment. Narendran wants to get Ramu married to Leela (Saroja Devi) but she is turned off by his cowardice. Ilango (MGR) is a jobless young man, prone to pick a fight and for this reason, the cause of trouble for his mother. Circumstances lead to Ramu and Ilango taking each other's place. Ilango teaches a lesson to Narendran while Ramu learns the ways of the world. Then Ilango teaches Narendran a lesson which forces him to leave the house. Due to this, his sister scolds and he plans to leave by reveal that he was not Ramu. Then the relation of the story reveals that Ramu and Ilango are brothers. With Ramu being kidnapped and Ilango going to help his brother and revealing everything to narendran brings the film to climax.Acteurs

In the kingdom of Malarpuri, the queen (P. Kannamba) delivers a male child. Her brother Naganathan (M. N. Nambiar) replaces it with a dead child with help from a maidservant, and informs king Varaguna Pandiyan (Sadasiva Rao) that the newborn is dead. To Naganathan's surprise, the queen gives birth to another boy soon after delivering the first. Minister Gunaseelar arrives by then and the king is informed of the birth of two children, one dead and one alive. Everyone is happy that at least one is alive. Naganathan decides to kill the first infant and hands it over to his servant Somappa (Stunt Somu). However, Somappa and his wife raise the prince in a forest.

The film had Kamal Haasan playing dual roles; An unemployed guy from a middle class society and a guy from a rich society returning from abroad after his father's death. In order to claim the property of the Kamal Haasan, Vinuchakravarthy with his mob guys assaults him and make him a drug addict by repeated injections of some harmful sedatives. Radha's father (Danaal Thangavelu) who is a family friend of the rich-one's father with Radha who is also a lover of the another Kamal comes as an excursion. The film tells the story of twin sisters who get separated at birth due to poverty. One is brought up by a wealthy person, and the other by the mother (Lakshmi). Vishi (Ajay Devgn) is a small-time crook who would do anything for money. He falls in love with Khushi (Sonakshi Sinha), a simple HR executive, who then begins a relationship with him. One day, Vishi, who frequently gets involved in fights, publicly beats up a street gangster, who later seeks a revenge attack with his gang. The gangster and his gang brutally beat up Vishi, and easily escape the scene. It is then revealed that the person they had beaten is actually Vishi's lookalike, Jai. The goons escape when they hear the siren, and Vishi is found alive on bike, then the same goons gets beaten brutally by Vishi. Khushi tries to explain to Vishi that she loves him, he understands and they both started falling in love. On another occasion, a police inspector arrests Jai and hands him over to a group of gangsters led by Pedro (Ketan Karande). Jai single-handedly kills them all and is revealed to be a professional assassin and previous right-hand man of underworld criminal Xavier Fonseca (Anandaraj), nicknamed AJ. After AJ single-handedly rescued Xavier's sister Marina (Manasvi Mamgai) from a bunch of kidnappers, Marina falls for Jai but he rejects her as he is been married to Anusha (Yami Gautam).
