Manjeri Narayanan Nambiar (Malayalam: മഞ്ഞേരി നാരായണൻ നമ്പ്യാർ; 7 March 1919 – 19 November 2008), known as M. N. Nambiar, was a film actor in Tamil cinema who dominated the industry in the role of villain for around 50 years. Also known as Nambiar swami or Maha Guruswami, he was a spiritual leader who pioneered the movement of taking pilgrims to Sabarimala.

The film starts off by showing Chithambaram (Prakash Raj), and how he's an important man in the village. He is an adamant character who always sticks on to his decisions. When the temple festival starts, Kausalya (Priyanka) goes to her grandfather's house to celebrate. There she meets Suresh (Vikram) and they fall in love. Meanwhile, Chithambaram gets into many conflicts with Suresh, not even knowing who the other was. All the things that Suresh did were unintentional but Chithambaram doesn't realize this. Therefore, Chithambaram ends up with a very negative opinion of Suresh. When the day comes that everyone in Kausalya's grandfather's's home find out that Suresh and Kausalya are in love, they try to get Chithambaram (Kausalya's father) to agree to the wedding. He, however stubbornly sticks to his decision that the marriage should not take place.

Sakthi (Prashanth) studying in a college in the city & he gets into quarrels every other day. Not able to withstand the threats from hooligans, Sakthi’s mother (Jayamurali) & father (Vijayakumar) packs him up to their village where Sakthi’s grandfather Velayutham (M. N. Nambiar) & grandmother Sivagami (M.N.Rajam) are cultivating Paddy. In that village an innocent servant Kaipulla (Vadivelu) constantly challenged by Sakthi’s relative Kattadurai (Riyaz Khan). Sakthi visits the grandparents & decides to stay there. A marriage of their relative is planned & the whole family from all over Tamil Nadu assembles. Neelaveni (Kiran) who accompanies her relatives falls in love with Sakthi. Kattadurai is supposed to marry Neelaveni. Many event follows. Kattadurai often clash with Sakthi & gets beaten up. Amidst the wedding preparation a group of former enemies (Rajkapoor, Anuradha) along with Neelaveni’s father (Prathap Singh) kidnap Neelaveni. Sakthi goes after them. After a huge tussle whether Sakthi brings back Neelaveni, Whether they unite or not is the rest of the story.

Unni (Sudheesh) is wrongly accused for murder of a man named Kannan in Dubai. Sheikh Al Mubharak Rasim Khalid tells Unni's elder brother Nandagopalan Vishwanathan (Jayaram) that he can release Unni if he gets he can get a letter from Kannan's family that they have pardoned Unni and all the members of Unni's family should sign the letter. Nandagopalan goes to Unni's house disguised as a Sheikh from Sharjah and trying to fool everyone in signing the letter without telling the truth of the contents of the letter. Little does Nandu know that the Shiekh is trying to fool him as well as he was written something else in the letter. How Nandu convinces Unni's family to get the signatures and how he rescues Unni from the authorities and the evil Sheikh forms the rest of the story.

Mr t rajendar investigative , in which Roja is the lead female singer. Roja works in a finance firm, and has a big family of three sisters, a brother, a father (who is an alcoholic) and a mother to support. Murali her office colleague loves Roja, and makes his intention clear in every opportunity that he gets. But Roja has no time for him. T. Rajendar has a sister, Swati who is married to a corrupt cop (Karan). The cop, furious about Rajender exposing him in his newspaper, harasses the sister, egged on by his avaricious mother and sister. The burden of taking care of the family becomes a little too much for Roja. Finally T. Rajendar, against all odds advises Roja to accept Murali's love.
