The film begins with Puff's narration about a little boy named Jackie Draper, who is filled with so much self-doubt and fear that he has stopped talking altogether. His parents are so concerned that they have three doctors examine him, and they say it is hopeless and that little Jackie will never talk again. Jackie returns to his room, where he sits until Puff comes to his bedroom window and starts a conversation with him.

Un vampire ancestral appelé veilleuse Valdronya se réveille la lita ruttland décide de chanter et de promouvoir le vampirifiesta (vampirofiesta) (nom original de vampire palooza) après Valdronya attaque Shaggy et Scooby et jette un pieu à Shaggy, lui faisant croire qu'il a été mordu par un vampire puis tous deux s'enfuient dans la forêt, mais Shaggy dit à Scooby de rester à l'écart, puis revient et Shaggy chante Scooby et moi (Scooby et moi). Dans une partie, la chanson se rend dans la ville où alguazil a imposé un couvre-feu, ce qui représente une autre victoire pour le chasseur anti-vampire et désormais candidat à la mairie, jesper poubelle de ahi lita.

Puff finds a young boy named Terry who has an overactive imagination, and who therefore has trouble making friends with other children, instead having an imaginary friend - a duck wearing a saucepan as a hat named Mr. Nobody. When Terry's imagination starts to get him in trouble, he begins to blame Nobody for imagining the things that Terry has dreamed up, until Terry ceases to believe that he has any imagination of his own. Eventually, Mr. Nobody abandons him and Puff must take Terry on a quest to find Nobody, teaching him along the way to embrace his creativity.

Casper Galloway, an overly cautious boy, has become afraid of anything dangerous since the day his father died at the Occult Barn, his grandfather's shop. When his grandfather Horus receives a lifetime achievement award, Casper mans the shop so Horus can collect the trophy. Horus warns "no-one is to come within spit distance" of an urn kept on a high shelf topped with a skull; Horus's father imprisoned a malevolent spirit inside the urn and it will curse the person that lets it out. The girl Casper has a crush on visits and he tries impressing her with a free purchase for loyal patronage to the Occult Barn. However, more of their friends arrive. Casper takes down the urn to show off to the girl and clumsily drops it. Casper tries warning them of the danger, but they laugh at him. Skeptical, they invent a curse: anyone with whom they make eye contact after 10pm (since Midnight is cliche) kills themselves and comes back as a "zemon", a zombie possessed by the evil spirit. The zemons spread their infection through hickeys rather than bites, and those infected kill themselves and become zemons. They are given till morning to undue the curse. However, they were too stupid to come up with an easy way to break the curse.
