Fiffty Fiffty [sic] is an Indian film from 1981 starring Rajesh Khanna and Tina Munim and directed by Kajol's father, Shomu Mukherjee.
Synopsis
Thakur Virendra Singh lives a wealthy lifestyle in India along with his wife and a son, Kumar (Ranjeet). His relative Bihari (Om Shivpuri) is envious, and successfully switches his son, Kishan (Rajesh Khanna), with Kumar, and also ends up killing Virendra. In this manner, Kumar grows up a wealthy lifestyle, while Kishan lives a poor lifestyle, shunned by his father and his mother, who has lost the use of her vocal cords. Bihari takes Kishan to his brother in Bombay, and leaves him there to lead a life of crime. 20 years later, Kishan has grown up and is now a master burglar. He meets with another burglar, Mary (Tina Munim), and both decide to be fifty fifty partners. However, Mary has other plans, she ditches Kishan and joins forces with Diwan Shamsher Singh (Kader Khan) to masquerade as the long-lost daughter of Ranimaa of Chandpur. Mary does not know that it was the Diwan who has done away with Rajkumari Ratna, and he will not hesitate to kill Mary - or anyone else who dares to stand in his way and the treasure of Chandpur.Acteurs

An amendment in Independent India comes where kingdoms are seized and people from Royal family are no longer rulers. One such kingdom is about to be seized from Vipin Kumar who refuses to lose his position. He continues to rule the jurisdiction as king and compels people to pay tax to him. People protest against this and one such person is police Inspector Dhirendra Singh (Rajesh Khanna). Because of this, he is transferred to a small village. His parents arrange his marriage with Janki (Hema) who is the daughter of Dhirendra's father's childhood friend. But Janki is in love with Manu Pratap Singh (Dharmendra). Due to an enmity between two families, Janki's aunt warns her that their love would not be accepted by Janki's father. But both of them are strong in their love and have an affair. Manu Pratap Singh's younger brother Bhanu (Vinod Khanna) is in love with an orphan girl Kamli. All are happy until Raja Jaipal Singh rapes Kamli and she runs away from the village. Meanwhile Jaipal Singh says he wants to marry Janki, which angers her father as he is the father of teenage girl even if he's a king.

Vishal and Jyoti both spent their childhood in different manner from each other but they fall in love, and in spite of stiff oppositions from their parents they get married. Anand (Rajesh Khanna) is a successful businessman with a dark side. He preys on nubile girls and rapes and kills them. Sanam Teri Kasam is the story of Sunil and his search for his father who has gone somewhere when Sunil was just a child. He meets Reena Roy en route who leads him to his father Kader Khan. There is a village named Haridaspur where, Ashok Sharma (Rajesh Khanna) has been posted as an Inspector in charge. When he arrives in the remote village, he comes to the rescue of a blind man and a widow, and has a fist fight with Nishikant Shah and his men. The immediate next day, Shah finds out that the person with whom his men fought with was Ashok itself. Then to make friendship with Ashok, he goes to pay homage, but Ashok refuses. After string of incidences Ashok comes to know of all the bad activities carried out by Nishikant Shah and MLA Gopal Choudary (Om Shivpuri). Ashok then realises he has to help the people of the village from getting exploited from these rich men. Meanwhile he starts to live in the village as a paying guest at the house of a girl Asha(Shabana Sidique) and also gets fond of an orphan child from the village named Chotu. Ashok then learns that Chotu's father was a loyal farmer who was duped and was killed by Nishikant's men. He even promises Chotu of bringing the culprits to book. Somehow then Shah and his friend Choudhry manage to put Ashok in trouble by fixing a blame on him of killing a man in his custody. Due to this he then faces a situation where he could lose his job and his good reputation too.
