Synopsis
Rome, début du XX : Le baron Ottone degli Ulivi, dit Zazà, aime les belles filles et a dépensé sa part d'héritage pour elles. Son frère Pio degli Ulivi, tailleur à succès pour écclésiastiques, désapprouve la vie dissolue de Zazà. Aux prises avec un créditeur, il falsifie la signature de son frère et est découvert. Zazà demande un prêt à son frère qui le lui refuse. Il lui fait alors croire qu'il a une fille à nourrir, Patrizia, fruit d'une aventure. S'ensuit toute une série de quiproquos.Acteurs

1906, époque Giolitti. Le Ottone Spinelli Baron des Oliviers, dit Zaza, en dépit de son ascendance noble, il est toujours brisé, à cause d'une vie dissolue passé dans les coulisses des théâtres pour courtiser la soubrette. Italy is about to take the famous cycling race of 1948, the event is seen by everyone, even by Dante Alighieri and by the Roman Emperor Nero from top of the Paradise. Totò is a mild professor who knows nothing about cycling and bicycles, but to make a good impression with her students is at stake practicing day after day. But Totò proves to be a total failure and so desperate calls the devil. This really comes and offers him a contract: Totò would win all cycling races past champions like Gino Bartali or Fausto Coppi, but in the end he had to give his soul and life after the demon. Totò initially includes only the first part of the contract or to win all the races, but then the demon appears to him a second time to remind him of the price you pay. Totò is desperate and does everything possible to not win the last race, but the legs on the pedals are as haunted and Totò can not stop. Approaching the last race and Totò is on the verge of collapsing morally, but his friends and the lovely Dorina, which Totò was madly in love, you invent a trick so clever as to deceive even the Devil.

Nicolino is a kitchen boy who works in a small pharmacy in the country, run by a woman unbearably rude. So Nicolino really wants to leave his job, when he discovers that you are looking for a murderess with the same face to his. Nicolino so disguises himself as a woman and flees with the first plane is: leave for Sevilla. In Spain Nicolino is always found involved in misunderstandings and terrible mess because it is always considered a murderess until he runs into some people who mistake him for a famous bullfighter ready for his next battle against the bull to be held in bullfight in a few rounds. Nicolino is wittily nicknamed "Nicolete" and is faced with the bull but it breaks down. In the hospital Nicolete prove their identity and will marry Patricia.
