PorchLight Entertainment, Inc. is an American production company founded in 1995 by Bruce D. Johnson and William T. Baumann. It dedicates in television production and animation. It produced projects like Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Adventures from the Book of Virtues, Tutenstein, JetCat, LeapFrog, The Secret Saturdays, Angelina Ballerina, Animalia, Pope Dreams, Gofrette, Night of the Twisters, A Martian Christmas, Kid Paddle, Cedric and Rain.
Based in Los Angeles, PorchLight specializes in high quality animation for television, Direct-to-DVD, and feature films. Known for successfully collaborating with outside partners, the studio provides creative and production services beginning with concept, script writing and voice-recording, through all levels of animation pre-production, production and post-production.
Most recently, PorchLight completed a series of best-selling Direct-to-DVD animated specials for LeapFrog, which have sold over 5 million units and have been widely praised by parents and educators.
In 2007, PorchLight launched KidMango, which was an online-only television network. Aside from showing PorchLight television series, it also showed television series from third parties such as Nelvana and Cookie Jar Group. The main website was abandoned in early 2013 and the domain name eventually expired in February 2014.
PorchLight produced independent films as well, and a majority of Feature Films for Families' movies were given the permission by PorchLight to release them to DVD.

A dam outside a town is filling up with water due to heavy rains. The disgraced architect of the dam building project comes back to town to reunite with his estranged family, however he is rejected, with his wife claiming that he came back purely to see the dam. The architect then visits the dam and reveals that the project manager cut corners in order to take money himself and framed the architect to hide his own corruption. The dam's resident engineer, Frank, the architect's son, Garth and the man himself set out to relieve the growing pressure on the dam wall, however the pressure release does not work, as corner cutting had led to this portion not being completed. Through flooding the warehouse district, Frank allows the townspeople enough time to escape, sacrificing himself in the process.

Former actor Bill Williams (Tom Arnold) is about to commit suicide over his ruined career. He throws out all his stuff and gives his clothes to a poor alcoholic. He says a billionaire, Davis Roman (Joe Mantegna) will hire Bill to write and co-star in a movie exactly like True Lies so that his son, Aaron Roman (Eric Gores), whose favorite film is True Lies, can live out his dream of being an actor and star of an action movie. Not knowing much about the boy or the billionaire, Bill agrees to do the project since he would make thousands by the end of the movie.
