Vellivelichathil is a 2014 Indian Malayalam movie, directed by National Award winning director, Madhu Kaithapram, starring media personality and Kairali TV Channel Managing Director John Brittas and Iniya in the leading roles. This is the first Malayalam movie to be shot entirely in Muscat, Oman.
Synopsis
The Plot revolves around the life of Upendran played by John Brittas who falls in love with and wishes to marry a bar dancer, played by Iniya. The lives of NRI Malayalees are portrayed by the other characters in the movie, depicting their daily struggles.Acteurs

The film revolves around Ajayan (Dileep), a clerk at a lawyer's office. Ajayan had an intercast marriage with Safia (Priyanka Nair) long ago. Ajayan and Safiya along with their five-year-old son Deepu (Master Sidharth), were happily living in Fort Kochi. Ajayan wants his son to be a judge, which he couldn’t become. Veluthambi (Vimal), who is driven by the pride of having gained high education, wants nothing less than a government job. The story is woven around a mobile phone, which Thankar says connects people by voice and helps to have new relationships and maintain them. Madhavankutty (Sreenivasan) is a schoolmaster in a remote village. He is famous among students and his friends but his wife (Rajsri) keeps complaining about not helping her in house. The village is identity-less as the title suggests. So, when a theft happens in a moneylender's shop, everyone around is baffled. It gives sleepless nights to the panchayat president (Nedumudi Venu) and the police officer in charge of the area (Innocent). As they have no inkling about who the culprit may be, they device a plan to catch someone with a previous record. Madhavankutty is the sole eye witness as the shop is visible from the place where he lives. A major part of the story is devoted to showing how Madhavankutty dodges the pressure tactics of the police and counters their arguments. But after this incident, people start moving away from him and the film is about how the incident changes his life.

"Tune in for a change" is the tagline attached to Radio in the credits. The storyline is about a girl Priya who comes to the city for a job as a salesgirl in a jewellery shop,with a load of debt to pay off, played by Sarayu. She is new to the ways and customs of the city life. Her co-worker, Iniya character Shweta, gives her accommodation, since she has no place or relative home to stay in the city. Shweta goes out at every night, where Nishan’s character Manu, comes to pick her up. Whole picture of the storyline is clear, Shweta. a five star prostitute and associate Manu as pimp,for securing her business. It is a shock to Priya when she realizes the truth about Shweta and decides to leave her friendship and apartment.
