Super Islaw is a fictional Filipino superhero created by J. Erastheo Navoa who appeared in some movies and TV Series. He was portrayed by Richard Gomez in the movie Super Islaw and The Flying Kids and was later revived by Zanjoe Marudo in ABS-CBN's Super Inggo TV series.

Synopsis

Super Islaw was a young crippled boy who was granted mystical powers because of his good heart. He used these abilities to protect the innocents of his town, battling supernatural beings such as vampires.

Four cousins: an emigrant, narcissistic Myra (Janice de Belen), eloquent Faye (Arlene Mulach) and former clergyman Donald (Herbert Bautista) gather in their late uncle's house to get their inheritance of 5 million pesos each. Makoy travels from Manila to the province of Pulupandan to visit and get back Sonia, who is pregnant with their child. While Fely, Sonia's mother, ruins Makoy's visits, Sonia's father, Nestor, and their helper, Bart, befriends Makoy. When Makoy and Nestor prepare for Sonia's birthday, Bart requests them to buy and cook a pig from his cousin Ringo, who will give them a discount. Makoy and Nestor go to the marketplace, where they are surprised by Ringo's kids. Ringo appears and apologizes, but couldn't offer a discount after an exchange of words. When Ringo leaves, Kulot, one of Ringo's sons (who knows Sonia is pregnant), sells Makoy and Nestor a young pig for a cheap price. Nestor hesitates, but Makoy agrees and buys it.
