Manasella Neene is a 2002 Kannada romance film directed by Mugur Sundar, a popular choreographer marking his debut in film direction. The film stars Nagendra Prasad and Gayathri Raguram in the lead roles with Prabhudeva and Ananth Nag in other pivotal roles.

The film is remake of the 2001 Telugu film Manasantha Nuvve starring Uday Kiran and Reemma Sen. It was also remade in Hindi as Jeena Sirf Merre Liye and in Tamil as Thithikudhe.

Nakshathrakkannulla Rajakumaran Avanundoru Rajakumari revolves around a family that claims that they are the descendants of the brave chekavars, who were the warriors of the Vadakkanpaattu. Bhageerathi Amma (K.R.Vijaya) has two sons, Veerabhadra Kurup (Narendra Prasad) and Kochchukurup (Kalabhavan Mani), and a daughter Subhadra (Sicily), who constantly feud with each other. The elder Kurup’s daughter Aswathy (Gayathri Raghuram) is in love with her muracherukkan, Subhadra’s son Ananthu (Prithviraj), but their parents object to the match. They are encouraged by Chandutty (Jagathy Sreekumar), Bhaskaran (Tharikida Sabu) and Shankunni (Baiju). They hope that Aswathy’s brother Karthik (Renju) will come to their rescue. But he turns against the lovers on the advice of his father. Suddenly, Raziya Begum (Anjali Krishna) turns up, claiming to be Karthik’s lover. Ananthu and his gang use this opportunity to fix Karthik, and Kochukurup gives them a lot of muscle support. After a lot of buffoonery and mistaken identity, the couple are united. The movie was the debut of Actor 'Prithviraj'. This film is a box office disaster.

Velu as Ghilli (Vijay), is a wannabe kabbadi champion who is the son of Assistant Commissioner of Police Sivasubramanian (Ashish Vidyarthi). Sivasubramanian is not fond of his son, constantly chiding him for his lack of interest in studies and his love for kabaddi. His mother (Janaki Sabesh), on the other hand, dotes on him and his younger sister Bhuvana ('Baby' Jennifer) is the typical sharp and inquisitive schoolgirl, constantly getting Velu into trouble with his father, but nevertheless still adores him.

Shankar & Bhawariya are childhood lovers who have been parted by unfortunate circumstances. Shankar's cousin Suresh (Deven Verma) is an advocate. City-based Ashok, who works as a Salesman in a Toy Store, has always dreamed of marrying village-based Ashoo. He is a close friend with his co-worker, Amjad, whose marriage is being finalized with Shabnam. Ashok goes to the village to meet and get Ashoo to marry him but finds she has been abducted by his brother, Bhagat, who had earlier killed her brother, Bhagwan. Ashok manages to rescue her, and they flee Bhagat and his goons in order to try and reach Amjad's wedding ceremony. Amjad is ready to even postpone the wedding in order to give Ashok enough time to make it - but nothing will prepare him for the shock when he gets the news that the train Ashok and Ashoo were traveling in had met with an accident - with very few survivors. Later, Amjad finds Ashok but sadly Ashoo dies. Coincidentally, Shabnam looks exactly like Ashoo and he asks Shabnam to pretend to be Ashoo, only so that his friend could recover and be healthy again. Shabnam reluctantly agrees but Ashok, who is unaware of Ashoo's death, is frustrated to see that Ashoo no longer loves him like before and retreats back even when he holds her hand. Will he realise Amjad's love for him and will Shabnam ever gain her husband's love .
