Annadammula Savaal (Telugu: అన్నదమ్ముల సవాల్) is a 1978 Telugu Drama film starring Krishna, Rajinikanth, Jayachitra and Chandrakala in the lead roles. It was a remake of the 1977 Kannada film Sahodarara Savaal which starred Vishnuvardhan and Rajinikanth also directed by K.S.R Das, which was dubbed into Tamil as Sahodara Sapatham. The music director of both the movies was Chellapilla Satyam. The tune of Kannada song Hey Nanagaagiye was retained for the Telugu version Naakosame Neevunnadhi . Also the song Nee Roopame which comes in place of O Nallane Savi Mathonda was later used by Chellapilla Satyam for the 1979 Kannada movie Seetharamu as Ee Roopave Nannee Baalina.
Synopsis
It is a story which deals with a crush between two brothers (Krishna & Rajinikanth) and how they unite in the end. Jayachitra and Chandrakala play their love interests respectively. Anjali Devi plays their mother with Halam, Jayamalini, Chalam and Allu Ramalingaiah in the supporting cast.Acteurs

Amarvedu dynasty was attacked by Britishers at the time of Bobbili war in South India. Before the Britishers are about to attack the dynasty, a couple of friends Daanaala Dharmayya (Gummadi) and Pagadaala Subbayya hides the treasure in a cave of five doors, very far away. They lock the treasure with five keys and the two friends separate, so as to make the key unavailable to the Britishers. Pagadala Subbayya escapes to Gadwal and Daanala Dharmayya escapes to the court of Kurnool.

Yugandhar (N.T. Rama Rao) is the most wanted criminal and killer. He is brave as well as intelligent, so the police force always fails at nabbing him. He kills Ramesh, who is one of his gang members, when he finds out that he's also an informant to the police. His fiancee Kamini (Jayamalini) tries to avenge his death, but Yugandhar kills her. Thereafter, his sister Jaya (Jayasudha) takes judo and karate lessons and infiltrates the mob, in order to avenge her brother's death. But before she gets a chance and unbeknownst to her, Yugandhar is fatally shot during a police encounter and later he dies. The Police head is soon forced to bring a look alike of Yugandhar in order to arrest Yugandhar's gang members.
