Jayamalini (or Jaya Malini) is a South Indian film actress who is famous for her vamp roles and item numbers.

She acted in more than 500 Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi movies.

Biographie

After she retired from films, she married a police inspector and is settled in Chennai with her two daughters and son but died in accident . She has decided that she will not let her daughters enter films. In 2005, the former actress and dancer was busy looking for a writer to help pen her biography.

Vasu and Chacko are working as drivers and low ranking workers for the Abkari contractor Sreekandan. Sreedevi (Shalini) is a daughter of Kiranmayi (Jayasudha), a mad woman. The story begins with four friends Ram Murthy (Satyanarayana) hotel Server, Damodaram (Rao Gopal Rao) Photographer, Kotaiah (Nutan Prasad) Chariot Rider, Bhadraiah (Bheemiswara Rao) bandmaster. When the ticket turns out to be a winner, Damodaram and Kotaiah turn on the other two, murdering Bhadraiah and framing Ram Murthy goes on the run but Kotaiah and Damodaram intervene and throw him over a bridge into a river and soon after Ram Murthy wife also dies in an accident and his two children are taken care by Mary (Sumitra) whom Ram Murthy looks as her own sister, along With her daughter Julie.
