Ammayi Bagundi (Telugu: అమ్మాయి బాగు౦ది) is a Telugu movie directed by Balasekaran, starring Sivaji, Meera Jasmine, Ali, Bramhanandam, Bhavana, Sana, Chitram Seenu, Anil, Siva Krishna, Rajan P. Dev. The music is scored by Srilekha and it produced by Dega Deva Kumar Reddy. In this movie Jasmine plays a dual role: one a lively girl and the other a homely wife. It is a remake Tamil super hit Parthiban Kanavu starred Srikanth and Sneha

Synopsis

Siva (Sivaji) is a modern guy who falls in love with a beautiful girl(Meera Jasmine) he saw at a bus stop but at the same time he goes to see a girl chosen by his parents for him. Luckily he finds the same girl he saw on the road as the bride-to-be. He happily agrees for the wedding. He immediately accepts to marry her. When he moves to settle in true marital bliss, the girl he had fallen in love moves near his house. He realizes that there exist two girls with the same face. Moreover he comes to know that tastes of his wife are exactly opposite to that of the girl he imagined and had fallen in love at first sight. He becomes friend of the other girl but finally understands that he loves his wife.

Aravind (Nagarjuna Akkineni), Chandru (Sumanth) and Krishna Murthy (Sudhakar) are childhood, friends. Chandru and Krishna Murthy are orphans, who are generously brought up by the parents of Aravind. By the time they reach their 20's, Aravind's sister Amrita (Pratyusha) falls in love with Chandru. Chandru hesitates to love her, as she is the sister of his close friend. Chandru seeks the help of Krishna Murthy to avoid Amrita. After the entire episode, Aravind and Chandru go to Hyderabad to work with Krishna Murthy. When this trio is assigned to renovate an old palatial house, Aravind encounters Padmini (Bhoomika Chawla). A mischief by the jealous cousin of Padmini results in Aravind falling for Padmini. When Padmini is about to get engaged to another guy, Chandru announces that Padmini cheated Aravind after loving him. Aravind and Padmini realize that Padmini's jealous cousin's responsible for ruining everything. Aravind's jealous cousin lies to Chandu that Aravind intentionally killed Chandu's brother. Aravind kicks his evil cousin out of the house. Chandu tries to save Aravind, but Aravind's hand is too slippery and Aravind falls off the mountain. Although Chandu tried to save Aravind, Chandu blames himself. Chandu realizes that his brother was accidentally killed by Aravind. Few years later, Chandu reunites with Aravind's family.

Bullabbayi (Sivaji) is fond of his sister-in-law Rajeswari (Meera Jasmine). He loves her so much and wanted to be flawless with good character. Though Rajeswari behaves that she is not interested in him, she really loves him. Bullabbayi has a property dispute with his stepbrother Veerababu (Subbaraju). In a bid to save a girl called Chintamani (Sangeeta) from being sold by a brothel owner (Anuradha) to Veerababu, Bullabbayi pays her money and takes Chintamani with him and keeps her in his outhouse. Bullabbayi tells her to leave the place the next day, but accidentally, seduces Chintamani, after an attack by Veerababu's men against him. Being an honest boy, Bullabbayi reveals everything to his father-in-law and urges him to stop the marriage, but the latter refuses to do so. Again, Bullabbayi innocently reveals the incident to Rajeswari as he doesn't want to cheat her that he was pious and flawless. Rajeswari attempts suicide and gets saved by Bullabbayi. However, Rajeswari refuses to share the marital life with Bullabbayi. A few days later, her father convinces her and appeals to honour his honesty. Being impressed with his innocence, Rajeswari allows him into the bedroom and they enjoy a good family life. As a result, Rajeswari turns pregnant, so also Chintamani. How Bullabbayi managed both his pregnant wives? Did Chintamani comes into the life of Rajeswari? Did Rajeswari keep mum on learning Chintamani was also pregnant and Bullabbayi continued to pamper her? What happened to the property dispute between Bullabbayi and Veerababu? How Veerababu reacted against Bullabbayi? Answers to all these questions form part of the climax.
