Synopsis
Dans un grand parc, un jardinier arrose un massif de fleurs. Planté au centre de l'image, un thuya. Un jeune homme apparaît, et observe le jardinier en se dissimulant derrière le thuya. Il se retourne en direction de la caméra et prend le spectateur à témoin de la farce qu'il s'apprête à jouer. Il plie le tuyau, arrêtant le débit de l'eau, le jardinier inspecte l'extrémité de son bec d'arrosage, le jeune homme libère le tuyau, le jardinier est arrosé. Il se lance à la poursuite du farceur et finit par l'attraper, et le mène jusqu'au bec pour l'arroser copieusement. Le jeune homme s'enfuit, la colère du jardinier se voit encore sur son visage.Commentaires

Deux femmes (deux hommes costumés), vêtues de longues robes caractéristiques de l'époque, coiffées de capelines fleuries et portant des ombrelles, papotent devant une palissade. Elles se rapprochent plusieurs fois l'une de l'autre pour se glisser des potins à l'oreille. Deux plaisantins, dissimulés de l'autre côté de la palissade, entreprennent de clouer aux planches le bas des robes. Les deux commères se retrouvent prisonnières et, pour se libérer, n'ont d'autre solution que de démolir les planches.

The film is divided into four episodes. In the first Paolo Villaggio plays the role of a sailor from Genoa who learns from his doctor that he will soon become a woman. He begins to make plans and to daydream of what it will be like to be a woman. In the second episode Adriano Celentano is a former dancer in Emilia Romagna who now trains a woman for boxing fights. When he meets a beautiful emilian girl who is enrolling in a dance competition where a large sum of money will be awarded to the winners, Adriano does not miss the opportunity. He first tries to kill the boxer woman he works with, called "King Kong" and then leaves to go dancing with the girl, winning one turn after another. But as the couple wins the first prize Adriano is arrested by the police. In the third episode Renato Pozzetto plays the role of a poor mason from Milan who bets with some friends that he will be able to seduce the wife of his boss. Renato will succeed but will pay the consequences. In the last episode Alberto Sordi plays the role of hick Roman Nando Moriconi (same character of the film Un americano a Roma by Steno - 1954), this time he works as a body guard of a prominent Italian financier who has been the victim of many attempts to kidnap him .

In a city on Spain’s Costa Brava, Clara Valverde, a young beautiful woman, lives with her husband Juan. They seem to have a perfect marriage.
