It was directed by Kanmani The film starred Mithun, Charmy, Nasser, and Pyramid Natarajan. The film was produced by J S Pankaj Mehta. Aha Ethanai Azhagu also has Nassar, Ranjitha, Fatima Babu, Pyramid Natarajan, Devan, Dhamu, Karunas and Pallavi in the cast. Kanmani directs the film, where popular Kannada actress Bhavana also plays an important role. A. Venkatesh is the cameraman and Vidyasagar is the music director.

Madurai Meenakshi (1992)

Madurai (Selva) is a traffic police who dreams to become a police inspector and he lives with his mother Maragatham (Sujatha). One day, he clashes with Meenakshi (Ranjitha) the daughter of the corrupt home minister Ulaganathan (Captain Raju). Meenakshi uses her father's power to change Madurai's duty and Madurai becomes her house guard. Meenakshi spends her time to humiliate the poor Madurai. Kumarasamy (Vijayakumar), his brother Kulasekaran (Nassar) and his sister-in-law Gomathi (Sabitha Anand) run a free school for blind children in their property. The prime minister orders Ulaganathan to buy their property. But they refuse to sell it so Ulaganathan's henchmen kill Kumarasamy. In the meantime, Madurai and Meenakshi fall in love with each other. Ulaganathan gets to know their love and transfers Madurai at the local police station. Inspector Rudra (Pradeep Shakti) and Ulaganathan decide to buy Kulasekaran's property by force and to send Madurai behinds the bars. What transpires next forms the rest of the story.

Sahasra (Charmme Kaur) is a chorus singer struggling to make a career in playback singing. One night she attends a wild party at the behest of her friend. Nanda Gopal a.k.a. Nandu (Mahesh Babu) is a professional assassin, and Malli (Sonu Sood) is his partner. State level opposition party leader Shiva Reddy (Sayaji Shinde) wants someone to attempt an assassination on him so that he can gain sympathy votes in the upcoming elections and become the new Chief Minister after promoting his party in such conditions. His colleague Baji Reddy (Kota Srinivasa Rao) with the help of Farooq (Posani Krishna Murali) hooks him up with Nandu for a deal for ₹1.5 crores. After receiving the payment, Nandu and Malli plan the fake assassination attempt at the promotion campaign held nearby and they choose a nearby building to hide and a car to escape. However, before Nandu can shoot Shiva Reddy, someone else fatally shoots him. Within minutes, police surround the building. Just before the exit of the building, a big car accident occurs on the street with Nandu's car. Nandu assumes that Malli got trapped and died in the accident. So Nandu goes to the top of the skyscraper. With the police behind him and in front of him, he is helpless. Suddenly a train comes and Nandu uses a rope to jump from the skyscraper to the train. On the train, Nandu meets Pardhasaradhi a.k.a. Pardhu (Rajiv Kanakala) and travels with him.
