There is another movie named Bade dilawala released in 1982, which has a song sung by Kishore Kumar "Jeevan Ke Din Chhote Sahi".
This film is a remake of Hollywood film It Could Happen to You which was released in 1994, starring Nicolas Cage and Bridget Fonda.
Later it was also remade in Telugu as Bahumati in 2007.
Synopsis
A police inspector officer Ram (Sunil Shetty), a man of his word. His wife Manthara (Archana Puran Singh) is obsessed with money and neglects her family in pursuit of getting rich quick. She forces Ram to buy a lottery ticket and he obliges. When he goes into a restaurant for a snack, he finds that he has no money to tip the waitress Piya (Priya Gill). He promises her half the money if he ever wins the lottery. And to his surprise, he does!! But Manthara is not about to give up half of this windfall so easily....and as Ram and Piya come closer to each other, they discover a growing attraction.Acteurs

Karan(Shahid Kapoor) is a shy and nerdy canteen boy and college student, running a café with his friend Murugan (Johnny Lever), and Tanya (Rimi Sen) is a student in the same college. On her way there, Tanya witnesses the murder of a scientist, Khurana (Om Puri) by his evil twin brother, the underworld don Mehboob, and as a result is forced to flee the country to save her own life, since the law had been bought over by the very same killers. The scientist had stored a secret code in a stuffed toy, a parrot, now being sought by Mehboob, and he had been able to hide the toy in Tanya's car before being killed. Unawares, Tanya leaves the toy at home before fleeing the country, and the toy is later picked up by Karan, who himself is not aware of Tanya's predicament.
