Nanditha Bose is an Indian film actress in Malayalam movies. She was a prominent lead actress during the 1970s in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Bengali films. She was well noted for her performance in the Malayalam movies Achaani(1973), Panitheeratha Veedu(1973) and Dharmayudham (1973). Currently she is busy acting in Television serials.

Biographie

Nanditha hails from Bengal, India. She was married to D P Bose but ended in divorce. The couple has a son, Debasis Bose

Devadathan Chemmathiripadu (Narendra Prasad), a vedic scholar is widely respected by everyone. He successfully completed Somayagam and has gained the title Somayajippadu. Leading a simple life away from all the chaos, Somayajippadu has two sons, Somadathan (Suresh Gopi) and Chithrabhanu (Jayaram). While Somadathan left for Delhi to become a journalist, Chitrabhanu stayed along with his father in order to assist him. Bhanu Namboothiri is now a chief priest in the nearby temple. During his Delhi days, Somadathan got attracted to atheism and became associated with several radical groups. One day he returns to his village to meet up with his family. But, upon arriving home, he finds the daily rituals irritating and starts questioning them. He denounces Vedas as superstition and starts propagating atheism among the villagers.

Sumalatha plays the role of Isabella, a tour guide, who falls in love with Unnikrishnan (Balachandra Menon), one of her customers. She has family problems as her father(Alby) is dead, her mother(Maggy) has become a drunkard and her brother(Tony) is a lunatic. Nedumudi Venu was her mentor and well wisher, who introduced her to Unnikrishnan. After that season, Unni returned to his residence and Isabella, whom he called affectionately Bella, awaited for his return towards her. He returned on several seasons, but on each time he refused to accept her as his life-partner.Terribly distracted by his family's behaviour, Unnikrishnan once decides to spend his remaining life with Bella. But on reaching there, he has surprises waiting for him.
