Synopsis

Sandook is a satirical comic thriller set in pre independence era in a small town called Sambalgarh. Our protagonist Vamanrao Ashtaputre is a simple honest man who always dreams of getting rid of the British Raj. How the underdog that is Vamanrao becomes a revolutionary albeit accidentally is the core story of Sandook . Filled with hilarious moments and one liners, this one is definitely going to tickle your funny bone. Sandook is a complete family entertainer with a feel good factor throughout the story. With an ensemble cast, Sandook surely is going to be a film to watch out for.

The story revolves around the Jadhav family. A busy housewife and mother, Madhu Saxena is upset when her husband forgets her birthday. As it is on February 29, her birthday only comes once every four years. Russie, 1936.
