Synopsis
Chuck (Tate Donovan), an uptight college student in Los Angeles, is hired by a successful businessman to deliver a Porsche to his daughter in Lake Tahoe, with the promise of a job if the delivery is successful. His fun-loving, girl-obsessed friend and roommate, Wally (Grant Heslov) convinces Chuck to drive him to San Diego first. The Porsche is stolen, and Chuck decides to try to get it back with Wally's help but without involving the police so that the businessman does not find out. Meanwhile, Shawn (Karen Lynn Scott), a fun-loving Texan, has convinced her naive friend Michelle (Danielle von Zerneck) to participate in a beauty pageant. The car thief is a successful local businessman, Greg Krevske (Leslie Nielsen), who pledges the stolen Porsche as part of the grand prize in the contest; Chuck and Wally meet Shawn and Michelle, who are initially skeptical of the boys' story. Rival pageant contestant Blake (Valerie Breiman) has a controlling stage mother who tricks Shawn and Michelle into going to a party on Krevske's boat to try to get them out of the way for the next round of the pageant so that they will be disqualified. Chuck and Wally sneak onto the boat in order to get evidence of the theft. Chuck finds a briefcase full of incriminating evidence, including the Porsche's original license plate. The four flee on WetBikes, steal Krevske's Ferrari, and agree to work together to steal back the Porsche. Chuck and Michelle spend the night together on a catamaran on the beach. The next day, with Michelle's help, Chuck and Wally steal back the Porsche. They present Krevske's Ferrari to the pageant as a replacement grand prize, and give the police the incriminating evidence from Krevske's boat. Wally suggests leaving in order to make it to Lake Tahoe on time, but Chuck refuses to leave without talking to Michelle again. Blake wins the beauty pageant, Shawn invites Wally to stay in San Diego with her to have fun, and Chuck and Michelle get ready to drive to Lake Tahoe.Acteurs

Ted Striker, un ancien pilote de chasse pendant la guerre devenu un vétéran traumatisé, est chauffeur de taxi. The movie follows the antics of high school students and their adventure in saving their school from being closed. Class president Melissa (Loryn Locklin) has started raising money through donations to keep the school open, but when the fundraising begins to slow down, Dylan (Matt Lattanzi) convinces Melissa that he can save the school with his plan. They take $3000 of the money that has already been raised to bet on an illegal car race that Dylan is convinced he would win. Dylan doesn't win the race and in order to get their money back, he is forced to double-down on an impossible race against the clock that only the town legend has ever accomplished. The film ends with a spectacular stunt with car and driver jumping through the goal-posts during a football game between two local high schools, Apollo and Cathedral.

The musical starts with the busybody postman who reads everybody's mail, Hector (Walter Brennan), delivering mail to the Dana household and particularly to Cora (Helen Broderick), the maid who he is in love with. Professor Oliver Dana (Robert Benchley) is the head of the household. The oldest sister is Sylvia (Anne Gwynne), an actress, and the youngest is Nancy (Ann Gillis), who is a bit of a flirt and has all the boys fighting over her. En 1939, à Chicago , une nouvelle radio, W.B.N. doit être lancée et l'enregistrement se faire en public. Or à l'heure prévue, rien n'est prêt, l'équipe est complètement désorganisée, les producteurs, sponsors et scénaristes s'opposant sur les scripts à interpréter, ce qui oblige les comédiens et le réalisateur à se livrer à des improvisations de haute volée. Et c'est en pleine pagaille que l'on retrouve le directeur du spectacle et l'un des musiciens morts. La police vient sur les lieux, tandis que Roger, le scénariste en chef tente par tous les moyens de regagner les faveurs de sa femme Penny qui est également la secrétaire du réalisateur. La police après avoir accusé une chanteuse nymphomane de ces crimes et l'avoir fait conduire au poste, soupçonne ensuite Roger lorsque d'autres crimes sont commis. Roger n'a alors qu'une solution pour ne pas se faire arrêter à son tour : trouver lui-même le coupable.
