The comedy is written by Sasidharan Arattuvazhi and directed by Rajasenan. It was made as a homage to C.I.D. Nazeer (1971).
Synopsis
Unnikrishan (Jayaram) wants to become a secret agent like his idol, Prem Nazir. His parents and his girlfriend support him but Unnikrishan still cannot find a job. He later gets selected as a trainee in a private detective agency called Secret Files. He is given the task of investigating a businessman's daughter's record. He faces two rivals, Premshankar who pretends to love Arundathi, and Oomen Koshy is a working as a gardener in her house. They are from the same detective agency investigating the same case. Things go wrong and the 3 decide to investigate the case as a group.Acteurs

Harikrishan (Jayaram) is the youngest son of Thrivikram Muthallali. His brothers Jayakrishnan and Gopikrishan are not as handsome as him. Payyarathu Padmanabhan Nair(Kalamandalam Kesavan), who is a well known personality is Praised by the people. He lives precedence life with his whole family members(Kootukudumbam), his Friend Reeve Sankunni(Oduvil Unnikrishnan) and Servant Kuttan(Kalabhavan Mani). He loves his family more than his life but they eyes on his wealth. On the day of his niece Meenakshi's wedding day he meets with a young man Ramanathan(Jayaram). Ramanathan be friends with him and Padmanabhan Nair likes Ramanathan's qualities. It was later revealed that Ramanathan is the son of Padmanabhan Nair and Sankunni's younger sister Saudamini. Slowly Ramanathan gets into the family to stay with his father. There he strikes with Payyarathu Padmanabhan Nair's neice and his cousin Gopika(Divya Unni) and she dislikes him as the other family members too. The men of the family sells the kitchen's rice and other goods without Padmanabhan Nair's knowledge. Ramanathan and Sankunni came know about this. They tries to prevent this action. The family members reveals the truth to Padmanabhan Nair that Ramanathan is Sankunni's nephew and they thrown out of the house. Later Padmanabhan Nair asks Sankunni 'Who is Ramanathan ?' and Sankunni reveals the truth. Padmanabhan Nair rushes to his son and hugs him. But he is in delema that he wanted to accept his son but he can't reveal the truth to the family to save his reputation. The hurted Ramanathan Challenges his father he will accept and tell the truth to whole family.

Appu (Jayaram) and Maya (Manju Warrier) were childhood sweethearts, and their parents had agreed to their marriage. Appu is treated by Maya's father as his own son and this makes her uncle jealous of him. Maya's mother belongs a branch of local royal family. However, Maya's life turns upside down when she is identified as the heir to her mother's royal family after her horoscope matched with the qualities that the royal family was looking for. Mahadevan (Jayaram) and Kumaran (Janardhanan) work in a small firm and are room mates renting from Janakiamma (Meena). One day, luck comes to them when Mahadevan wins a car as the first prize of a promotional contest held by a washing-powder brand. Meanwhile, a murderer, Ambrose (Abu Salim) is after Maya. By mistake, both the murderer and Mahadevan get the same tag number on their cars' license plates. The murderers try a hit-and-run attack on Maya, but she escapes. She thinks that Mahadevan who did it. Mahadevan gets arrested by sub-inspector Cherian (Kalabhavan Mani) according to Maya's complaint. But due to lack of proper evidence, he's released with a warning. After getting through problems one after another, Mahadevan finds the real killers and their car. He tells Maya about the killers who attempted for her life. Shockingly it is revealed that one of the killers is Maya's Vishnu who is after her wealth. Vishnu tries to kill Maya, but Mahadevan stops him. In an attempt to kill Mahadevan and Maya, Vishnu dies by falling on a sharp object. In an attempt to dump his body, the couple is stopped by Vishnu's accomplice, Ambrose. He's enraged by his friend's death and tries to kill Mahadevan and Maya. But ends up at the dead end of the road, where the cops were waiting for him with an armed force. The car catches fire from the gunshots and explodes, killing him. The film ends with sub-inspector Cherian thanking Mahadevan and Maya, for their help and support.
