Emma Eliza Regan is an award-winning actress, known for her performances on the Abbey stage and in Irish Cinema as well as work in contemporary art and a columnist for various publications.

She trained as a ballet dancer in her teens, getting distinction with the Royal Academy of Dance examinations, but she first came to notice for her acting in 2010 with her impressive professional début with The Abbey Theatre Dublin, Ireland's National Theatre, followed by a Critics Circle award as a lead actress in Ivan Kavanagh's film The Fading Light which won Jameson International Film Festival 'Best Irish Film'.
