Cyril Morin is a multi-award winning composer, who has scored over 130 soundtracks for both film and television. He is re-known throughout the international press for his long lasting "multiple talents (Variety)".
His score for the critically acclaimed "Samsara" (directed by Pan Nalin), won honors at AFI and festivals in Santa Barbara and Melbourne. The soundtrack continues to be a hit internationally, garnering many dedicated fans, and has made Morin something of a cult composer.
He was nominated for a World Soundtrack Award and a European Film Award for "The Syrian Bride", and his score for "Little Jerusalem" (directed by Karin Albou with Elsa Zylberstein), which screened during Critics week at the Cannes Film Festival, earning him two awards. His music for "That Day," directed by Jacob Berger, was cited as being "a wonderfully varied and evocative score..." by The Hollywood Reporter. Other projects include "A Simple Heart" (the Flaubert adaptation with Sandrine Bonaire), "Ultimatum" (with Gaspard Uliel) and the Eran Riklis's "Human Resources Manager" (with Mark Ivanir), which won Best Score in Vallaloid, Spain.
Morin has also worked on numerous TV features, documentaries and the critically acclaimed series "Mafiosa" (directed by Louis Choquette with Hélène Filières) and "Borgia" (directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel , a Tom Fontana series).
Recently, he scored Zhou Sun's "I Do" (with Li Bingbing), and also Eran Riklis's "Playoff" (with Danny Huston) and "Zaytoun" (with Steven Dorff), which screened at the Toronto film festival, AFI and London film festivals. Zaytoun's score get a nomination for the Jerry Goldsmith Awards.
Since the 90's, Morin has also produced over 30 albums, soundtracks and solo albums for his label, Massive Music. He has also orchestrated songs for Madonna, Mirwais, Kery James and the Indian singer Vidya Rao. Also a solo artist, Morin's "The Evolutionist" has been hailed a "cinematic journey" and "a beautiful fusion of sound" by critics.

The Activist was named one of the top 10 essential Native American films by Indian Country Today.
In 2015, he released Hacker's Game, a love story between two hackers, starring Pom Klementieff (Old Boy, Spike Lee, Guardian of the Galaxy2) and Chris Schellenger (The Canyons, Paul Schrader). This film swept the Indie Fest Film Awards with four wins. His next film, NY84, was released in 2016. Inspired by the artists and music of the 1980s, the film looks at the beginnings of the AIDS crisis in New York.
In 2017, Cyril Morin's "An American Trilogy" (3 features about 3 American tragedies) will be released worldwide on Blu-Ray, along with a documentary to provide an amazing and in- depth look at the filmmaker's concept behind the project.

In 2018, a new version called "Hacker's Game Redux" of his 2015 film was released, featuring Pom Klementieff, Chris Schellenger and Ross Butler. Cyril Morin composed also the music of several movies like "Desrances" (directed by Apolline Traore - London Film Festival) and the Indonesian film "Love All" about the life of Olympic winner Susi Susanti. A new jazz solo Album "New dawn" was also released that year.
2019, several solo album are released, one based on the "Ayurveda" medicine (released in 2001) and a "music conrète" experience called "Il Crea Tura.

Il compose aussi les musiques de 20 Nuits et un jour de pluie (Lam Le), Les feux de Mansare (Mansour Sora wade) et Un cœur simple (Marion Laine).
Cyril Morin collabore aussi avec la télévision pour des films engagés comme Nuit noire 17 octobre 1961 (Alain Tasma) qui remporte l’Emmy Award du meilleur film, ou Capitaines des ténèbres (Serge Moati). La musique de la série Mafiosa, le clan (Louis Choquette), un thriller pour Canal+, sera largement remarquée par la critique.
Il a également orchestré des chansons pour Madonna (Music), Mirwais (Production), Mankato (Safe as houses).
