Pooch is a participant in a number of track and field events. His first event is a sprinting competition. Because of poor signaling from the signal man, Pooch runs but the other competitors remain in their starting position. Pooch reaches the finish line but fails to come across as the tape slings him back to the starting line. The signal man restarts the race, and this time all the runners make their move. Pooch again reaches the finish line but again gets sling back by the tape. His second flight also causes him to push back the other runners. Pooch resumes his run and wins the race, thanks to the absence of the tape at the end of the track.

In a multi-domed palace somewhere in the Middle East, a jackal wearing a turban is looking at things monitored by his crystal ball. Besides being able to see, the jackal can also touch and take things shown by the ball. One day using the ball, he spots Krazy riding on a camel with the latter's spaniel girlfriend. The jackal kills the camel and kidnaps the spaniel.

Pooch (now wearing shoes and a hat) is a penniless vagabond wondering the countryside, and carrying a sack on the end of a stick. On his way, he comes across his sweetheart the girl coonhound (now having lighter fur) who is milking a cow. After they greet each other, Pooch sings the song A Great Big Bunch of You. Moments later, an old dog, who is the girl coonhound's employer, shows up and isn't happy to see him. The old dog hurls Pooch past the fences bordering the farmlands where he lands next to a sign saying "No tramps allowed."

Sur un chemin de campagne près d'un château et d'un moulin, Mickey est le tambour-major d'une parade. Après avoir donné un coup de sifflet, il agite son bâton pour entamer la procession en musique. Minnie est porte-drapeau. Elle est suivie de trois cochons jouant de la trompette tels des hérauts, de cinq chiens portant tambours et grosse caisse, de deux ratons qui passent le balai et d'une tortue déroulant le tapis rouge. Clarabelle y dépose des fleurs, suivie à nouveau par les trois cochons.

Quand le roi retourne à son château, il s'interroge là où se trouve la reine. On lui dit qu'elle est dans le salon et qu'elle ne sera pas vue. Il va à son trône, et son bouffon arrive Goopy Geer. Finalement, un chevalier noir arrive et menace une jeune femme au tribunal. Goopy tente de le combattre avec une hache, puis avec une armure fabriquée à partir d'ustensiles de cuisine, et finalement de l'assommer avec une tête d'animal montée, ce qui fait que le chevalier noir perd toute son armure. Il le répare et s'enfuit.

Goopy Geer courtise un autre chien à la danse. Sur le chemin, leur panneau se brise et devient une brouette. Les problèmes surviennent à la danse, quand un ours a un fusil de chasse, mais tout se passe bien grâce à un réchaud.
