S. V. Krishna Reddy is an Indian film director, actor, producer, screenwriter and music director, predominant in Telugu Cinema. Known for directing comedy films, to his credit he adds thirty eight Telugu films and few Hindi films. He has garnered three Andhra pradesh state Nandi Awards and three Filmfare Awards South.
He ventured into Hollywood with the upcoming 2012 English romantic comedy, Divorce Invitation, a remake of his 1997 acclaimed Telugu film, Aahvaanam in post production, produced by R. R. Venkat.

Rajendra Prasad is a magician who works with his friend Gundu Hanumanta Rao. He one day finds a cute little girl bruised and finds out that her uncle Kota Srinivasa Rao killed her parents. The girl manages to escape when he's about to kill her as well. Now Kota Srinivasa Rao's after her and Rajendra Prasad protects her. But one day when he performs a magic trick for the girl, she becomes blind. Rajendra Prasad asks the doctor to do an eye operation but has to collect the money. When he does, he gets blamed for a murder committed by Kota Srinivasa Rao and is arrested while the doctors refuse to give the girl her eye operation. Will the girl ever get her eye operation and how Rajendra Prasad stops the villains forms the rest of the story.

The story is about a fashion photographer, Raaj (Sumanth), who is caught in between his wife, Mythili, played by (Priyamani) and his ex-lover, Priya (Vimala Raman). Raaj chose not to tell Mythili about Priya and finds it difficult to adjust with his wife during the early days of marriage. However, their relationship improves with time and they finally get close. Just when things look to settle down, Priya comes back into Raaj's life unexpectedly. He's very curios about why Priya left him abruptly in the past. Priya is later kidnapped by her scorned lover, played by Ajay (actor). Raaj saves her from his clutches subsequently. In an unexpected twist, it is revealed that Mythili and Priya were actually classmates in school. Raaj later uncovers Priya's ulterior motive, tells Mythili the truth, and reconciles with his wife.

Padmanabham (Jagapati Babu) is a miser who does anything to save money, because When he was a young boy, Padmanabham was driven out of his house along with his parents by an evil-hearted money lender (Tanikella Bharani), who gave him a condition: if by a stipulated time period Padmanabham could raise enough money to buy back the house he could reclaim it as his own. Ramya (Ramya Krishna) not only likes him, she also falls deeply in love with him. Padmanabham doesn't want to do anything with her, but when Ramya suggests that two salaries are better than one, he thinks it's a brilliant idea and marries her. Now the troubles start: first, his sister Vijaya (Y. Vijaya) and her husband Totti Subramanyam (L.B. Sriram) pile on to him and then Ramya's good-for-nothing brother Ravi (Ravi Teja) also seeks shelter in their house. Vamsee (Srikanth) belongs to a disorganized but big family which includes a drunkard father (Kota), a bothersome mother (Y Vijaya), a gambler brother (Raghava), a sister (Rajita), a lazy brother in law (brahmanadam) and a patient sister in law (Suhasini) who is the only saving grace in the family. Vamsee tries to keep the family going with the help of the sister in law but decides to stay as bachelor after getting disgusted with his own family. The film center's on a happily married couple,where husband believes money is the only thing important and not family ties, affections and respect for cultural or traditional values or marriage values. He married one nice traditional girl with Hindu moral values by tricking them for money. The husband runs into a wealthy unmarried business woman and teenager. The protagonist is convinced she is his wealth maker and lies to this wealthy business girl that he is married,but recently divorced. He has one huge problem, he needs to show her a divorce certificate. For this, he requests his wife to get divorced with him legally, but wishes to live with her as his soul mate. But his emotionally blackmailed, wife will not let him go out of the marriage and wants to teach him the marriage values and human values. But the greedy husband only interested in money and files for divorce in the court and the consequence's, lead to the frustrated wife, who wishes to invite, her family and friends for their divorce ceremony like a marriage ceremony. Finally husband realizes the importance, sanctity of the marriage and apologizes to the wife and requests her to be his wife again.

Seetha (Aamani) is a possessive wife who suspects that all the women in the world are throwing themselves at her husband, Madhu (Jagapathi Babu). Things get a little interesting only after Sudha (Ranjitha) enters the picture and ends up hugging Madhu right in front of Seetha's eyes. Seetha is diagnosed with a deadly heart condition and decides to have Madhu and Sudha to tie the knot for the sake of a good life for her young son.
