Montazur Rahman Akbar (Bengali: মনতাজুর রহমান আকবর) born 31 July 1957, Akkelpur, Bogra, (East Pakistan) now Bangladesh is a Bangladeshi Film Director and Producer. He was most successful & popular only one action based film director in Dhallywood. He started his career as an assistant director under the assistance of legendary film director Matin Rahman, Azizur Rahman, Zillur Rahman, Saiful Azam Kashem & Narayon Ghosh Mita. He was also a freedom fighter of the Bangladesh Liberation War fighting against the Pakistan Army in 1971 Sector Number 7 under the battle of Sector Commander Quazi nooruzzaman. After libartion war he was joined to local theater group Akkelpur Adorsho Club. He was also founded a development NGO in Joypurhat, Bangladesh. He owner of film production company Nayan-Apon Production, Star Plus & Swadhinata Home Box, Produced several Superhit film.
