Gayathri Iyer is an Indian film actress and model from Kerala, who acted in Kannada, Telugu and Bengali films.
started modeling in her first year of Mechanical Engineering. It started with college fashion shows. And they led to intercollege fashion show competitions. Soon she got noticed by coordinators and casting directors in kerala. Subsequently she did prominent print ads and later TV Commercials of well known national and international brands. She also walked the ramp in bangalore for several fashion labels. After establishing herself as a popular model she shifted her focus to acting and films.
She did notable movies in Telugu and Kannada. Six opposite Jagapathi Babu being a heroine oriented movie got her noticed not just as a pretty face but also as someone who can hold powerful characters. Then she followed it up with more movies in Telugu. Gola Gola and Dorakadu, both opposite Sivaji and Sindhu with a new comer. Daya with Tarakratna etc.
She then did her movie in Kannada. Namo Bhootatma which was produced by Eldred Kumar of RS Infotainment. This was a remake of the Tamil Super Hit Yaamirukka Bayamey. Namo Bhootatma ran for 100 days in Karnataka and was well received by the audience.
Gayathri's next is Ouija in Kannada and Telugu by Vega Entertainment which was filmed in Malaysia and parts of Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Gayathri's last 4 movies have been in the horror genre. She is currently shooting for Tyson with Vinod Prabhakar ,son of late superstar Tiger Prabhakar.
Besides acting, she is also passionate about dancing . She has been a student of Bharatanatyam since her school days and even in college. She has undergone training for Hip-hop and contemporary under lollipop master. She has undergone training for taekwondo, the Korean martial art .

Rôle Tripura
Uravakonda a remote village situated in Nallamala Forest, which is far away from modern civilized life. This village has only 12 Hrs a day i.e. 6 AM to 6 PM, sunrise to sunset. No one comes out of their houses after 6 PM, the entire village becomes like a graveyard. If anyone tries to come out of their house they were mercilessly killed by unknown reason. Someone thinks that it is a revenge by some ghosts, some thinks it is job of wizards in the village and some it is play of village head Jagga Reddy (Pruthvi Raj) who performs all illegal activities in the forest. The only person who knows the real secret behind all these mysterious things is Tripura (Gayatri Iyer) a well-educated girl who lives in the same village.
