En 1942, pendant l'Occupation, un bombardier britannique embarquant cinq hommes d'équipage est abattu au-dessus de Paris par la Flak, lors d'un retour de raid aérien. Ses occupants sautent en parachute. Deux sont faits prisonniers, les trois autres parviennent à échapper aux Allemands. Le premier, sir Reginald Brook (alias « Big Moustache »), atterrit dans le zoo de Vincennes, le second, Peter Cunningham, sur la nacelle d'un peintre en bâtiment, Augustin Bouvet, et le dernier, Alan MacIntosh, sur le toit de l'opéra Garnier avant de se réfugier dans la loge d'un chef d'orchestre acariâtre, Stanislas Lefort.

Le 16 janvier 1944, un avion de reconnaissance américain est abattu à Delahaut, au-dessus de la Belgique occupée par les Nazis lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Seul Ted Brice survit. Un jeune garçon, Jean Benoit, le découvre et l'emmène chez un couple de résistants, Claire et Henri Daussois, qui le cachent dans leur ferme. Ted révèle l’existence dans l'avion d'un cahier contenant des codes qui doivent faciliter le débarquement allié. Pour le récupérer, un résistant tue les soldats allemands qui gardaient l'épave de l'avion, ce qui entraîne des représailles allemandes envers la population. Mais Ted Brice devient amoureux de Claire, et Henri, par jalousie, le dénonce aux Allemands. Ted Brice est assassiné, ainsi qu'Henri, alors que Claire est libérée.

Passengers on a plane headed from the Midwest to the West Coast (Winnipeg to Vancouver in the book; Minneapolis to Seattle in the film) get quite ill after eating the chicken pot pie entree. A man who has not flown since the Vietnam War (single-engine planes in the book, helicopter/war choppers in the film) is reluctantly pressed into flying the plane, where he makes a very neurotic, but survivable landing.

11-Septembre - Dans les tours jumelles (titre original en anglais: 9/11: The Twin Towers) est un documentaire télévisé britannique de Richard Dale sur les attentats du 11 septembre 2001. Il est produit par la société de production Dangerous Films. Il a été diffusé pour la première fois le 3 septembre 2006 sur la chaîne de télévision américaine Discovery Channel, puis le 7 septembre sur la chaîne britannique publique BBC One. Le documentaire décrit le déroulement chronologique du drame à travers le destin de plusieurs des protagonistes. Il se présente en partie sous la forme d'un docufiction : les événements, remis en scène et joués par des acteurs, alternent avec les témoignages des survivants de l'attentat. Se mêlent à la fois images d'archives, événements reconstitués et entretiens. Le film a été plusieurs reprises sélectionné et récompensé. Il a notamment remporté d'un British Academy Television Award, et a été sélectionné aux Emmy Awards en 2007.

Diane and Greg Halstead were once happily married, even deciding to try and have a baby in later years, despite the fact that she had already suffered two miscarriages. She has no luck in becoming pregnant and this leads to an estrangement from her husband. On his latest flight, Greg, a professional pilot, finds out about a bomb threat. The person carrying the bomb supposedly wants to kill another passenger, a politician with an outspoken opinion on abortion. Unknown to the killer, however, the politician has already left the plane because it had an hour and a half delay. Greg decides to make an emergency landing in Dayton, Ohio, but during the heavy weather, the plane crashes, killing almost everyone on board.

The man succeeds, but the woman is saved through medical intervention. When she witnesses the suffering of the surviving families of the bombing victims, she begs to be executed, believing it is the only fitting punishment for her actions.
