Le film débute par la scène où une plume d'oiseau, volant dans les airs, atterrit aux pieds de Forrest Gump, un jeune homme simplet, assis sur un banc dans la ville de Savannah, en Géorgie, attendant le bus. Au fil des différents interlocuteurs qui viennent s’asseoir tour à tour à côté de lui sur le banc, Forrest Gump va raconter la fabuleuse histoire de sa vie. Sa vie est à l'image de la plume (que l'on aperçoit au début et à la fin du film) qui se laisse porter par le vent, tout comme Forrest se laisse porter par les événements qu'il traverse dans l'Amérique de la seconde moitié du XX siècle.
Le film est contemporain à son époque et se situe entièrement dans une grande ville américaine. On découvre également l'intérieur d'une boîte de nuit et une salle de boxe.
Les Temps modernes montre la vie d'un ouvrier d'usine, employé sur une chaîne de production. Après avoir été soumis à divers mauvais traitements, gavé par une machine ou contraint à visser des écrous à un rythme effréné sur une chaîne de montage accélérée, Charlot est atteint d'une dépression nerveuse. Il est alors envoyé à l'hôpital.
A la suite d’un accident de parapente, Philippe, riche aristocrate, engage comme aide à domicile Driss, un jeune de banlieue tout juste sorti de prison… Bref la personne la moins adaptée pour le job. Ensemble ils vont faire cohabiter Vivaldi et Earth Wind and Fire, le verbe et la vanne, les costumes et les bas de survêtement… Deux univers vont se téléscoper, s’apprivoiser, pour donner naissance à une amitié aussi dingue, drôle et forte qu’inattendue, une relation unique qui fera des étincelles et qui les rendra… Intouchables.
Afin d'obtenir un poste bien payé, un jeune homme passionné de sport et de musique ment à son employeur, un patron aux valeurs plutôt conservatrices. Suite à une erreur, il se retrouve dans une situation délicate et doit trouver de nouveaux mensonges pour continuer à duper son patron, de plus en plus suspicieux...
The film opens with the aging gangster, Singaperumal, forcing himself on a young girl, Subbu. He is unable to perform, and vents his anger by slapping the helpless Subbu. Singaperumal is the grand don of crime in Madras. His lieutenant, Pasupathi, brings a proposal. A large stash of cocaine, worth about 20 million rupees, has entered the city. The guy bringing the stash wants to sell it for 5 million rupees. Pasupathi sees the immediate easy profit, as well as the long term benefit (to control the cocaine market with such a large supply) and the recognition that they are able to pull off such a deal. The drawback is that the stash really belongs to their arch rival Gajendran. Singaperumal knows that Gajendran is a vicious and unpredictable adversary, and the venture is risky and likely to become messy. He decides to pass. Pasupathi dourly suggests Singaperumal is getting old and rusty. He asks Singaperumal to loan him the five million so he can do the job himself. Pasupathi is prepared to face the risks, and in return for the loan, he offers Singaperumal a cut of the profits. Singaperumal agrees to the loan, but, instead asks Pasupathi to first get the stash and then think of the profit distribution. The money for the loan is brought to Singaperumal.
A rich industrialist, Venugopal(R.N. Krishna) marries a woman, Sushila(Jayabharathi) and they have quadruplets. His brother, Nandagopal(R.N. Jayagopal) tries to have her and the newborns killed by hired goons. However, the leader of the goons, (Santhana Bharathi), having no desire to kill the babies, adopts one (Michael), drops one in an orphanage (Raju), one in a temple (Kameshwaran) who is picked by Palakkad Mani Iyer (Delhi Ganesh), and one (Madhanagopal a.k.a Madhan) in a car that belongs to the babies' biological father.
Childhood friends Chintan "Chako" (Divyang Thakkar) and Tapan "Tino" (Pratik Gandhi) aspire to invest in a real estate project called The Other Side, located near the scenic Nal Savorar area and their residence of Ahmedabad. They currently work as MRs while hoping to make quick money through a Godman who promises to triple their profit. The Godman turns out to be part of a larger con and his scheme is discovered by the police. Chako's father, Jeetu (Darshan Jariwala), runs a small local tea stall, in which hangs a painting from a prominent artist named M.F. Hassan (based on the late M.F. Husain). The piece was gifted to Jeetu as a sign of their close friendship, before Hassan's rise to prominence and eventual death.
The movie revolves with childhood days of boy Ramu which played by actor Puneet Rajkumar. Ramu born to a poor family works in a guesthouse where foreigner who came on a trip stayed. He is fond of reading Kannada books. Ramu wants to study to support his family but the situation of family is not in favor. Ramu has one ambition of his life is to purchase Sri Ramayana Darshanam written by Kuvempu. He starts saving money by selling wild flowers (hence the movie title) to a botanist. But the situations bring him to make a decision whether to buy a book or buy a blanket to protect his family members from chilling winter cold. What follows is a tale of shattered dreams.

The story revolves around three unemployed people (the third is a middle age unsuccessful theater owner). The story opens with the arrival of Balakrishnan (Saikumar) in Cochin to dispute the denial of his company job which he was supposed to receive several years ago. Several candidates overtook his chance and the last one was Rani (Rekha) who pretends to be an influential figure in the town. Rani threatens Balakrishnan to continue to work despite his efforts to overthrow her. The company manager (Sankaradi) who knows her family situation (poor and pathetic) helps her to remain in the job. Balakrishnan determined to stay back in the town until he succeeds to get back his job back from Rani.
