Ugadi (Kannada: ಯುಗಾದಿ) is a 2007 Indian Kannada romantic drama film directed by Om Sai Prakash and produced by Mega Hit Productions. The film cast includes V. Ravichandran, Telugu actor Srikanth, Kamna Jethmalani and Jennifer Kotwal in the main roles. The film is a remake of the successful Telugu film Santosham (2002) directed by Dasaradh and starred Akkineni Nagarjuna and Prabhudeva.

The film released on 6 July 2007 to average response where the critics called it as an "ordinary" remake and "the only redeeming factor of this film is the last 20 minutes of the film". Nowrunning.com reviewed the film as "just another remake which does not raise above the ordinary levels and certainly does not reach the standards of its original film". Ironically, the film which itself was a remake from Telugu, was later dubbed again in Telugu language and released as America Alludu (2011).

Surajchand est un jeune homme un peu fruste qui quitte Benares pour faire des études à New Delhi et grimper dans l'échelle sociale. Il y tombe rapidement sous le charme de Pooja. Par ailleurs, il attire l'attention de Naved Ali, magnat des médias qui l'aide à monter une chaîne de télévision. Viswanathan (T. S. Balaiah) is an arrogant, money-minded estate owner who lives in a bungalow called Chinnamalai Estate near Pollachi. His son Chellappa (Nagesh) is an aspiring filmmaker; Chellappa is the antithesis of his father and voices his displeasure at his father's arrogance. Viswanathan also has two daughters; Kanchana (Kanchana) and Nirmala (Rajasree). Kanchana is in love with her college mate Vasu (R. Muthuraman), the son of a rich Chennai-based businessman Sachidanandam (V. S. Raghavan). The sisters return home after completing their education in Chennai. One day while out sightseeing, a battered car driven by their father's young, rebellious estate manager Ashok (Ravichandran) bumps into their car. The sisters quarrel with Ashok and are annoyed by his insolence. At their home, they force Viswanathan to dismiss Ashok. Infuriated, Ashok pitches a tent overlooking their bungalow and begins a strike to get his job back. Nirmala accidentally drops a bucket of water on Ashok's head, hurting him. Feeling guilty, she visits Ashok's tent to apologise and they fall in love.
