À Naples, dans les années 1880, Felice Sciosciammocca, un écrivain public sans le sou, partage l'appartement où il vit en famille, avec la famille de son ami Pasquale, un photographe de rue. Les deux familles désargentées y cohabitent tant bien que mal, bien souvent contraintes de se passer de repas. Un jeune aristocrate, Eugenio, amoureux d'une danseuse, Gemma, leur propose un marché : Felice et Pasquale, en échange d'un somptueux repas, se feront passer pour ses nobles parents afin de convaincre le père de la demoiselle, un ancien cuisinier quelque peu infatué de noblesse, de la laisser l'épouser.

Italy is about to take the famous cycling race of 1948, the event is seen by everyone, even by Dante Alighieri and by the Roman Emperor Nero from top of the Paradise. Totò is a mild professor who knows nothing about cycling and bicycles, but to make a good impression with her students is at stake practicing day after day. But Totò proves to be a total failure and so desperate calls the devil. This really comes and offers him a contract: Totò would win all cycling races past champions like Gino Bartali or Fausto Coppi, but in the end he had to give his soul and life after the demon. Totò initially includes only the first part of the contract or to win all the races, but then the demon appears to him a second time to remind him of the price you pay. Totò is desperate and does everything possible to not win the last race, but the legs on the pedals are as haunted and Totò can not stop. Approaching the last race and Totò is on the verge of collapsing morally, but his friends and the lovely Dorina, which Totò was madly in love, you invent a trick so clever as to deceive even the Devil.

Nicolino is a kitchen boy who works in a small pharmacy in the country, run by a woman unbearably rude. So Nicolino really wants to leave his job, when he discovers that you are looking for a murderess with the same face to his. Nicolino so disguises himself as a woman and flees with the first plane is: leave for Sevilla. In Spain Nicolino is always found involved in misunderstandings and terrible mess because it is always considered a murderess until he runs into some people who mistake him for a famous bullfighter ready for his next battle against the bull to be held in bullfight in a few rounds. Nicolino in spite of being trained and prepared for the race and also falls in love with the beautiful Patricia, who encourages him to fight. Nicolino is wittily nicknamed "Nicolete" and is faced with the bull but it breaks down. In the hospital Nicolete prove their identity and will marry Patricia.

L'histoire se déroule à Naples et à Sorrente à la fin du XIX siècle. The story is set in Paris in the middle of the 19th century. Caspar (Totò) and the Baptist (Campanini) are two poor homeless staying in an orphanage, not knowing where to stay. One day the two orphans are called by the director to solve a very special case: Susanne, a girl from the orphanage would like to marry a rich young but her father is against it because he does not know anything about the origins of his girlfriend. So Gasparre has the bright idea to cut a lock of hair to swap it with that of Susanne and so the father of the rich man discovers that the owner of the hair is of noble origins and thus a relative. Caspar along with the Baptist enters the new family but the nobles Parisians have in mind to delete the new emperor Napoleon III of France and the two tramps are involved against their bungling. Being in the real room of the emperor, Napoleon immediately catches them and makes them stop, so Caspar and Baptist are sentenced to the guillotine. But just as the ax is about to fall on their heads, the two orphans wake up with a start: it was all a dream.

Antonio is the modest butler of the noble and flawed Gastone who loves madly beautiful elusive to Lulu. But in the end things are resolved and Antonio, who escaped an assassination attempt by his master, and marry Antinea "sterilizing" her.

Enfant perdu, Antonio a vécu pendant plusieurs années dans la jungle en compagnie du singe Bongo. Mais un jour, une troupe de scouts passe dans les forêts du Congo et le découvre. Ramené à la vie normale, il y apprend les usages des hommes, non sans bien des difficultés et des situations cocasses. Iva est la seule fille à comprendre vraiment combien il souffre d’être séparé de son environnement. Et voilà qu’Antonio découvre qu'il descend d'une famille noble dont il a hérité une coquette somme. Des collègues d’Iva sans scrupules veulent profiter de l’occasion pour s’approprier tout cet argent en profitant de l’ignorance d'Antonio, mais Iva arrive à le protéger et ce sont bientôt les deux méchants qui vont se retrouver dans le pétrin. Le singe Bongo contribuera à aider contre eux Antonio et Iva.
