The film was produced by Tagore Madhu and Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) under the banner Leo Productions. It features Varun Tej, in his Telugu cinema debut, and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles with Rao Ramesh, Prakash Raj and Nassar in other key roles. Manikandan was the film's director of photography. Mickey J Meyer composed the film's soundtrack and background score. Marthand K. Venkatesh edited the film.
Production began on 27 February 2014 in Hyderabad. Principal photography commenced on 24 March 2014 in Cochin and was completed on 16 December 2014 in Hyderabad. The film was initially titled Gollabhama. Apart from Hyderabad, the film was predominantly shot in Andhra Pradesh at places like Rajahmundry, Bhimavaram, and Amalapuram as well as in Cochin and Alleppey in Kerala and at Kanyakumari, Pollachi in Tamil Nadu. The film released worldwide on 24 December 2014.

A kindhearted man, known as "Relangi mavayya" ("Relangi Uncle") by his family, lives in the village of the same name. His middle-class family consists of his wife, mother, niece Seetha and three children: two sons (Peddodu, "the elder" and Chinnodu, "the younger") and a daughter, Chinni. Peddodu is an introvert, who lives life on his own terms and is unsociable. Although Seetha wants to marry him, her love is apparently unrequited. Chinnodu is the opposite of his brother. He falls in love with Geetha, the daughter of Seetha's paternal uncle who is jealous of Chinnodu's father and denigrates his family's economic status. Although the family is close-knit, the brothers do not communicate well with each other.

Seenu, better known as Alludu Seenu, lives with his uncle in a village where he and his uncle are in great debt. One day, they run away to Chennai,hoping to fly to Dubai and earning a lot of money and clearing their debts. They mistake their train and they end up in Hyderabad. Seenu lands in a lodge where he discovers he is in Hyderbad, but to his horror, his uncle is a doppelganger of Bhai, a don in the city. He uses his uncles face to earn a lot of money, and by fooling Dimple(Bramhanandam), the right hand of Bhai. When Bhai discovers that there is a doppelganger of him in the city, he plans to get him killed and ends up discovering that the doppelganger is his twin brother. The rest of the story how Seenu saves his uncle and marries Anjali.

Bruce Lee (Jiiva) is a martial arts specialist but unluckily he is unable to use those skills to make a living. Instead, he falls in love with Police Deputy Commissioner Gaurav's (Nassar) daughter Shakthi (Pooja Hegde), and tries to impress her and her elder sister's kids with his martial art skills. To make it more fun for them he pretends to be a superhero by wearing on a costume each time he visits. On his way back on one such visit, Lee finds himself caught in between cops and robbers chase in the city. He decides to assist the police and manages to nab one robber from the gang and hands him over to the police. Lee doesn't realize that by doing so he has asked upon himself the revenge of Dragon (Narain) who heads the same gang. As the police were involved too, Dragon eyes to take revenge on Police Commissioner Gaurav also. Dragon then connives a plan that eventually frames Lee as a robber and the attempted to kill the Police Commissioner. What lies ahead for Lee now is to prove his innocence to the Police, win his love back Shakthi and more importantly bring Dragon and his gang to justice.

Daya is an orphan who grows up learning that a police's life is a happy one with lots of money coming in the form of bribes which inspires him to become a police officer. After years, he becomes a corrupt, cunning, manipulative and ruthless sub inspector of police. He is transferred to Vishakhapatnam where he forms an immediate friendship with the local don Waltair Vasu by releasing his four brothers Ravi, Mani, Varun and Sundeep from the jail who were arrested for smuggling.
