Sher Singh a.k.a. Shekhar(Govinda), a struggling movie scriptwriter, is in love with a temperamental girl Nisha (Raveena Tandon). However, Nisha's wealthy father arranges her marriage to his friend's son Vicky (Rajendranath Zutshi).
