Backbench Student is 2013 Telugu romance film written and directed by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy. The film stars Mahat Raghavendra, Piaa Bajpai and Archana Kavi. BBS is produced by M.V.K. Reddy on the Shirdi Sai Combines banner and presented by Multidimension Entertainments. The protagonist (Mahat Raghavendra) fails in at least 16 subjects in his course, and the story is about how this student’s life turns out to be. BBS was canned in 55 days of shooting in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam with Prasad G.K. as the Director of Photography. Back Bench Student is set to be released world wide on March 15 in more than 200 theatres.

Synopsis
Karthik (Mahat Raghavendra) is a careless Engineering student, who is least bothered about his studies the result of which is 16 backlogs. He is love with his classmate Priyanka (Archana Kavi), who splits from him and leaves for USA to pursue MS. The hell breaks loose when his parents (Sarath Babu and Pragathi) come to know about the backlogs. While he is in search of a job to support himself, he hooks up with Chitra (Piaa Bajpai). Meanwhile, Priyanka discontinues her studies and comes back from the US in search of Karthik. She learns that Kaarthik is in love with Chaitra and is disheartened and wonders what made Kaarthik fall for Chaitra.Acteurs

A man who is now working under Khan. In other side, a girl is raped by some people. Indu (Neha Oberoi) is very coward. But after meeting with Ghani she becomes brave and fights with the rapers of that girl. Indu and Ghani fall in love with each other. And Indu reveals about her family, her father (Suman) was an honest man. Some People killed her father and brother. This time it is revealed that Rajeshwari Devi is mother of Indu. Indu names Ghani as Balu. But Khan kills Indu. In Indu's death time Ghani promises her that he will take care of Indu's family. After that we come in present and saw Ghani in Hospital. After Ghani becomes well, Khan's henchemen found's him and a fight starts in Khan and Ghani. At last Ghani kills khan and reunites with Priya.

Krishna Lanka is an island in Godavari districts. The only way of commuting to that island is by boats. Lots of people die due to bad weather conditions while they travel. Krishna Lanka's President Bullabbai (Vijay Kumar) wants to have a bridge to that island which costs several crores. He asks his IAS friend Venkata Ratnam (Prakash Raj) to make his dream come true. Even 20 years after Venkata Ratnam leaving the village, there is no news about the bridge. Bullebbai sends his son Chandu (Ravi Teja) to Hyderabad to meet Venkata Ratnam and learn the progress. After coming to Hyderabad, Chandu realizes that Venkata Ratnam is very money-minded and is least bothered about the bridge. The rest of the story is all about how Chandu makes Venkata Ratnam get the bridge approved by the government.

Gowtam (Navdeep) is youngest of three sons of Collector Shambhu Prasad (Nassar). His wife Chaya Rani is a professor, eldest son (Manoj) is a doctor, second one (Neeraj) is a businessman, and his daughters-in-law are also in a well-to-do status. But his last son fails to go beyond S.S.C.. Gowtam is more close to his neighbors Dr. Bhanu (Bhanupriya) and Kondal Rao (Prithvi) than his family. He is not respected in the family and doesn't have a clear goal in life. He also builds a strong friendship with tutor Janaki (Sindhu), who teaches his brother's kids. Though Mr. Prasad ignores his son's small gaffes, he doesn't spare him when he comes to know that Gowtam forged his signature. He throws him out of house. Now homeless, Gowtam is taken by Janaki to her house. There, he starts working as a mechanic repairing vehicles. He gets inspired by the words of Bhanu (Bhanu Priya) and plunges himself into automobile repairing. He invents a carburettor that gives a mileage of 120 km per liter and makes his brother as the patentee for his apparatus. He saves his eldest brother from a conspiracy of hospital management and also fixes marriage of his sister with her lover. In spite of doing all good to his family he never lets his father to know about these things as his father always wishes to see his third son as an I.A.S. officer. He strives for that and his love is also not informed of his efforts. Movie ends with sharing his triumph with his father.
