Agnipankh (The wings of fire in Hindi) is an Indian film directed by Sanjiv Puri about pilots in the Indian Air Force. It was released in 2004.

Synopsis

The protagonist is an IAF fighter pilot and womaniser named Siddhart. His rival and colleague is another fighter pilot named Sameer. The other pivotal character is Rahul Dev who is their superior officer. Nupur (Divya Dutta) is Vishal's newly married wife. Anjana is a tomboyish female combat chopper pilot who is secretly in love with Sameer. Surbhi is a wealthy socialite who loathes flying but falls for Siddharth. However, Sameer falls for Surbhi while being unaware of Anjana's love for him.

Rizwan Khan est un petit garçon musulman qui grandit à Borivali, dans la banlieue de Mumbai (Inde), entouré de l'affection de sa mère. Malgré la différence de religion, ils se marient et vivent heureux avec le fils que Mandira a eu d'un précédent mariage. Mais après le 11 septembre les choses changent, la famille est en butte à l'ostracisme anti-musulman et, accablée de douleur, Mandira rejette son mari qu'elle rend responsable du drame qui les frappe. Pour reconquérir la femme qu'il aime, Rizwan entreprend un long périple afin de faire savoir à tous que "Son nom est Khan et qu'il n'est pas un terroriste".

A driving instructor (Vikram), who calls himself by various names such as "James Bond", "Mani Ratnam", "Sunil Gavaskar" etc. (but never reveals his actual name), is assigned by a local goon Doss (Pasupathy) to deliver a "package" to one Pooran Singh (Abhimanyu Singh) in Mussoorie. The "package" is Shakeela (Samantha Ruth Prabhu), an orphaned woman who has failed her driving test 14 times. The driving instructor is constantly irritated by Shakeela's antics during the journey to Mussoorie, but soon falls in love with her after finding out that she is an orphan. At Mussoorie, he learns from Pooran Singh that Shakeela is to be "delivered" to one Daksha Bhai (Rahul Dev), an upper-caste landlord from an Uttarakhand-based village. He "delivers" Shakeela to Daksha Bhai and is invited to stay at his ancestral mansion for a couple of days. During the stay, he finds out why Shakeela has been "delivered" to Daksha Bhai.

Jeremiah "Jerry" Lane and Pierre Potkin are a couple of carnival workers running an airplane ride. The duo leave their job when they are hired by smuggler Dave Hanlon to fly a real plane in order to retrieve a lifesaver. They believe that the lifesaver only consists of harmless photos, but soon find inside the lifesaver stolen jewels and cocaine. Jerry and Pierre eventually land in the backyard of the Arlingtons' estate. Initially, the Arlingtons believe that the duo are police officers, and readily allow them to stay in their home. As it turns out, the Arlingtons are good friends with Hanlon. When Hanlon is informed that Jerry and Pierre are at the Arlingtons', he convinces the family that the two men are actually lunatics from an asylum. Hanlon and some of his cronies (posing as doctors) show up at the mansion in order to bump off Jerry and Pierre, and get the smuggled jewels. However, the jewels have been hidden by the Arlingtons' kleptomaniac dog. A frantic and confusing search around the manor soon occurs, with dozens of cops added into the mix.
