Karan (Sohail Khan) and Bindiya (Nauheed Cyrusi) are childhood friends and live with Karan's brother Arjun Rana (Sunny Deol). Karan's feelings for Bindiya are more than just of a friend, however she is unaware of his feelings and falls in love with Saahil (John Abraham) gradually. When Karan find this out, he warns Sahil to stay away from Bindiya but he doesn't and makes a love letter for her .The next day karan sees the letter and tears it apart then Karan's friend Rony (Apoorva Agnihotri) humiliates him about falling in love with bandiya and being so poor .So Saahil gets angry and tries to kill himself. However, when Sahil's brother Sanju (Sunil Shetty) finds him unconscious and badly wounded, he cannot control his anger and goes looking for Rony. However, when Sanju gets to the college he sees Karan sitting down, wearing Rony's Jacket with his name on the back, starts beating him up in public. Karan is hospitalised when Sanju finds out that he has beaten Karan and not Rony. Now Arjun Rana who is a very powerful & wealthy communist and gangster wants to avenge Sanju for badly beating up his brother. However, Arjun is unaware of Bindiya's feelings for Sahil and Karan's for Bindiya. Saahil advises Sanju to give up his violent ways. Sanju hands himself to Arjun and gets badly beaten up by him. Saahil apologizes to Sanju. Saahil decides to leave Bindiya.

Ajay (Sohail Khan) is head of his college gang named Aryans. A girl named Ayesha (Sameera Reddy) to which Ajay is introduced and become friends. Gradually, Ajay and Ayesha falls in love with each other. This enrages Ayesha's father (Kabir Bedi) because of his status. Ajay challenges to get Ayesha back to him in nick time. Mr.Verma's friend and business partner Chopra (Dalip Tahil) too gets enraged and decides to finish off Ajay, but Chopra has an ulterior motive, Chopra's son (Raja Bherwani) to get married by Ayesha only to get Verma family's wealth. So Chopra appoints a notorious criminal Bhaijaan (Sanjay Dutt) to finish off Ajay. But Bhaijaan refuses as he do not do any wrong deeds in month of Ramadan. So Bhaijaan appoints his two head henchmen Munna (Rajpal Yadav) & Chhote (Sarfaraz Khan). Ajay at first empowers them during a fight but no sooner the formers appoint a gang to beat up Ajay brutally and left him dead on streets. Soon Ajay recovers from his injuries and enters Verma's mansion. An enraged Ajay challenges Verma to get back Ayesha at any cost. Verma too keeps a condition, if within 24 hours he didn't get back to Ayesha, he will have to get out of her life forever. Ajay accepts this deal. Chopra again plans a conspiracy and arrests Ajay without any crime. The police inspector (Aashif Sheikh) first beats Ajay and the inspector gets equally beaten up brutally and Ajay runs from the jail. Now Chopra calls Chhote to kill Ajay and promises to give him loads of money but Chhote replies that Ramadan is ended and Bhaijaan will finish Ajay. This conversation gets taped by Ayesha's little sister. Ajay gets surrounded by henchmen and knocks each one but interrupted by Bhaijaan. Just before Bhaijaan is about to kill Ajay, the former says he is a lover and will die once. This made Bhaijaan save Ajay. The reason was Bhaijaan had a brother Irfan who committed suicide because Bhaijaan didn't care for his feelings. During Eid ul Fitr Bhaijaan thanks Allah for giving a boy like Ajay in turn of his deceased brother and decides to help him. The very day, Ajay arrives to the Verma's mansion within 24 hours and decides to stop the wedding of Raman and Ayesha. Bhaijaan, who has a change of heart and helps him but soon interrupted by Chhote. Chhote disobeys Bhaijaan and soon a fight ensues. Bhaijaan requests Ajay to go but he is beaten up badly. Ajay, interrupts wedding and points gun on Verma. Soon Ajay and Ayesha gets married. Just about Verma is about to kill Ajay, Mini plays the tape of the deal to her father and soon Chopra and Raman are kicked off. Bhaijaan kills all the henchmen and finally slits Munna and Chhote with a sword. The film ends on a happy note with Ayesha and Ajay are united and Bhaijaan reconciles with Ajay.

Ratan Kumar lives a middle-class existence with his wife, Pushpa and son, Sunder. When he is asked to commit a crime for Balram Singh, he does so, but decides to keep a suitcase full of diamonds for himself. An enraged Balram sets fire to his house. Believing his wife to be dead, Ratan flees, is rescued by Dr. Saigal, taken to the palace of a distraught Maharani Maanwati, who has just lost her son and husband, but is placated after being told that Sunder is her son. For years, Ratan, who now calls himself Ramesh, works for the Maharani, and when Sunder grows up, the Maharani comes to know of Ramesh's existence, finds that he closely resembles her husband, and marries him. Shortly thereafter, Pushpa re-surfaces, an enraged Maharani attempts to kill Ramesh, but ends up killing herself, before dying she asks Sunder to avenge her death. Fleeing from Sunder and the Police's wrath, Ramesh is apprehended by the Police, tried in Court, and sentenced to several years in jail. When he returns, he becomes an underworld don, with a sole motive of bringing an end to Balram, little knowing that Sunder, who now calls himself Shyam, is also on the lookout for him, and has befriended Ravi, Ramesh's second son, who was born during his tenure in prison. When Balram finds this out, he plots to use Shyam to bring an end to Ramesh and his entire family - once and for all.

À la suite du décès de leurs parents, Muskaan (Kajol) et son frère Vishal (Arbaaz Khan) ont été élevés à la campagne par leur oncle et leur tante. Muskaan est aujourd’hui une charmante jeune fille qui souhaite aller étudier à Mumbai. Malgré ses craintes de voir sa sœur perdue dans cette grande ville, son frère accepte et l'accompagne jusqu’à son université où il rencontre le président (Tiku Talsania) pour s’assurer du sérieux de l’établissement et du bien-être de Muskaan. Celle-ci reçoit de nombreuses propositions de mariage de bonnes familles mais Vishal les rejette toutes les unes après les autres. Yash Thakur (Sanjay Kapoor) and Suraj Prakash (Salman Khan) are inseparable friends. After completing their studies, they go their different ways. Yash takes over from his father's (Paresh Rawal) underground and mafia-like business, while Suraj becomes an officer of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Yash's dad is attacked by a rival gang, and he loses the use of his leg, making him become a wheelchair user. Meanwhile, Yash marries his sweetheart Prathna (Shilpa Shetty). After completing his training successfully, Suraj is assigned to the investigation against his friend, Yash, which shocks Suraj, but which he accepts. Yash's criminal dad has many contacts, and soon Yash also comes to know of Suraj's job, and his assignment. Suraj must now convince Yash that his father is not what he appears to be, and at the same time take criticism and pressure from his superiors for not proceeding with the investigation against Yash.
