Apsar Hussain, un officier de la CBI a osé s’opposer aux frères Rao qui sous la couverture de commerce de granit contrôlent un réseau d’évasion fiscal. Le raid mené par l’officier provoque le courroux des frères Rao qui n’ont qu’une envie : punir l’officier et laver leur affront. Ainsi, ils font appel à Shyam, un homme d’affaires installé à Bankok pour accomplir leur vendetta. Hasmukh Rai (Kader Khan) has a problem. As a matter of fact, two problems — his two sons: Munnu (Chunky Pandey) and Bunnu (Govinda Ahuja). The duo are notorious slackers, always up to no good, and involved in elaborate practical jokes. It comes to Hasmukh's attention that his sons have been lying to him about their college grades — in studies and sports — and have not been attending school for the last three years. As a result, they are kicked out of college and, ultimately, their home. Later, one of their practical jokes gets out of hand, and Bunnu disappears, presumed dead. At the same time, Munnu gets involved with a conspiracy of killing Bunnu. Meanwhile, from a small Indian village, Bunnu's identical cousin, Gauri Shankar, arrives in town. He is mistaken for Bunnu which leads to a hilarious misunderstandings and constant uproar.

Vishi (Ajay Devgn) is a small-time crook who would do anything for money. He falls in love with Khushi (Sonakshi Sinha), a simple HR executive, who then begins a relationship with him. One day, Vishi, who frequently gets involved in fights, publicly beats up a street gangster, who later seeks a revenge attack with his gang. The gangster and his gang brutally beat up Vishi, and easily escape the scene. It is then revealed that the person they had beaten is actually Vishi's lookalike, Jai. The goons escape when they hear the siren, and Vishi is found alive on bike, then the same goons gets beaten brutally by Vishi. Khushi tries to explain to Vishi that she loves him, he understands and they both started falling in love. On another occasion, a police inspector arrests Jai and hands him over to a group of gangsters led by Pedro (Ketan Karande). Jai single-handedly kills them all and is revealed to be a professional assassin and previous right-hand man of underworld criminal Xavier Fonseca (Anandaraj), nicknamed AJ. After AJ single-handedly rescued Xavier's sister Marina (Manasvi Mamgai) from a bunch of kidnappers, Marina falls for Jai but he rejects her as he is been married to Anusha (Yami Gautam).

Raja (Akshay Kumar), a good for nothing trying to get rich, impersonates Parimal Chaturvedi, a school professor and involves into a school of beautiful rich woman. He falls for rich girl Pooja (Urmila Matondkar). Then he wins her heart. Trouble comes when Pooja's dad Prakash (Anupam Kher) mistakes Raja for Rocky (also Akshay Kumar), who is a lookalike of Raja and is a ruthless and merciless criminal who blackmails people for money or threatens to kill them. Prakash is also on Rocky's payroll. Prakash asks Raja for help, so Raja impersonates Rocky to get his secrets and Prakash's money. But tables are turned when Rocky finds out about Raja's game. Raja wakes up and finds himself kidnapped in Rocky's mansion. He then realizes he has been drugged for the past 7 days, and in these 7 days, Rocky has posed as Raja and is getting married to Pooja. Raja is tricked and arrested under the name of Rocky. Raja manages to escape and crashes the wedding where he tells the truth and Rocky escapes. Raja follows him to an multi-story building where the two fight brutally. Rocky is in the lead and knocks Raja out. Raja uses full power to get back up and pushes Rocky off the building, who falls to his death. Raja and Pooja then get married.
