Titina De Filippo, born Annunziata De Filippo (27 March 1898 – 26 December 1963) was an Italian actress and playwright.

She was born in via Dell'Ascensione a Chiaia, Naples, the oldest of three children born from the extramarital relationship between Luisa De Filippo and Eduardo Scarpetta, a well-respected playwright in Naples. The children became known as "Children of the buttons" since their mother was a seamstress to his company: apart from Titina, they include actor Peppino De Filippo and playwright and director Eduardo De Filippo.

Titina De Filippo studied music and learned French as a child. She made her stage debut at the age of seven.

Brigitte et Otello se sont rencontrés lors d'un congrès médical en Espagne. C'est le coup de foudre et ils se marient. À leur retour en Italie Brigitte est fraichement accueillie par les deux tantes d'Otello qui lui reprochent d'être étrangère. Voulant continuer son activité professionnelle Brigitte est appelée chez un marquis dont le fessier a été criblé de balles par un mari jaloux. Il s'ensuit un quiproquo au cours duquel le marquis est subjugué par la beauté de la jeune femme mais refuse de se faire soigner par elle en raison de son sexe. Les deux tantes d'Otello intriguées par les absences répétées de Brigitte engage deux détectives privés pour confondre la jeune femme et finissent par prévenir Otello qui dans une crise de jalousie s'empare d'un revolver et s'en va retrouver le marquis. Mais tout rentrera dans l'ordre et la morale sera sauve.

Province of Rome, the early postwar years. Antonio, an unemployed middle-aged, married a rich woman, Teresa, who bullies: he lives in the countryside with his wife and daughter Valeria with the earnest and always without a penny in his pocket. Valeria makes the acquaintance of Albert, a young journalist, came to the country with the purpose of approaching and interviewing the bandit Ignatius said, "The Press", feared throughout the region for its daring enterprises. With the complicity of Peppino, the barber of the country, Toto pretends to his wife that he had been kidnapped by Ignatius and thus induces Teresa stingy to pay five million for his ransom.
