After returning to Turkey, he played in the series Gurbet Kadını. Esen starred in the film Gönül Yarası for which he won both a Golden Orange and a SİYAD award.

Biographie
Timuçin Esen was born on 14 August 1973 in Adana to lawyer parents. After studying at TED Ankara College, he went to study theatre at Ankara University state conservatory and ultimately graduated from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts. He then went to the California Institute of the Arts in the United States to do his masters degree. He received coaching from acting teacher Larry Moss.After returning to Turkey, he played in the series Gurbet Kadını. Esen starred in the film Gönül Yarası for which he won both a Golden Orange and a SİYAD award.

Nazım, a primary school teacher, returns to Istanbul from his posting in the east . He temporarily takes on a job as a taxi driver with the help of his friend Atakan. One night he picks up Dünya, a singer at a club and after striking up a friendship, becomes her driver. While Nazım is waiting for Dünya to finish her performance one night, she is attacked by a man. Dünya is injured, and is rushed to the hospital by Nazım.

Two soldiers return home from their military service in southeastern Turkey with disabilities. Cevher (nicknamed "the Ghost") has lost his hearing while Rıdvan (nicknamed "the Devil") has lost a leg. Both are emotionally and physically scarred and find difficulties in adjusting to normal civilian life.
