Madhavan (Dileep), an educated youth from a small village of Idukki, comes to Kochi to stay with his brother's family after his brother's sudden death. The film begins with the City Police Commissioner Bharath Chandran (Joju George) jumping over the compound wall of a house who is having an affair with house owner's wife.
