Broderick Stephen "Steve" Harvey (born January 17, 1957) is an American comedian, television host, radio personality, actor, and author. He hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Steve Harvey (the talk show), and Family Feud. He is the author of Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which was published in March 2009, and the book Straight Talk, No Chaser: How to Find and Keep a Man.
Harvey previously hosted Showtime at the Apollo, starred in The Steve Harvey Show, and was featured in The Original Kings of Comedy. He is a three-time Daytime Emmy Award winner, and an 11-time NAACP Image Award winner in various categories.
In June 2007, he married Marjorie Bridges, who he says is responsible for making him a better man and changing his life. Marjorie Harvey has three children of her own, Morgan Harvey (born 1987), Jason Harvey (born 1991), and Lori Harvey (born 1997). Steve raises them as his own. Steve and Marjorie have three grandchildren, Rose Harvey (born 2014) and Noah Harvey (August 21, 2015), through Jason's marriage to Amanda, and Morgan's daughter Elle (born 2015) with her husband Kareem. Harvey and his family split their time between Atlanta (where he hosts his radio show) and Chicago (where he hosts his talk show for NBCUniversal from the company's Chicago studios, though he will host his radio show there as well).
Harvey is a self-proclaimed Christian.

Harvey has been married three times and has seven children. He has twin daughters, Karli and Brandi (born 1982), and a son Broderick Steve Jr. (born 1991), from his first marriage to Marcia Harvey. Harvey also has another son, Wynton (born 1997), from his second marriage to Mary Shackelford. The couple divorced in November 2005.
