Biographie

Sruthi Jose with the stage name Sruthi Lakshmi is born on 8 September 1989 to Jose and cine actress Lissy Jose at Kannur. Her father is from Kannur and mother is from Idukki. She is a practicing Knanaya catholic. After completing her +2 in Science from GHSS Sreekandapuram she went to pursue graduation from Mar Ivanios College Trivandrum. She is a trained classical dancer. Her elder sister Sreelaya acted in films Kutteem Kolum (2013),Maanikyam (2015),Compartment (2015) and serials Kanmani on Surya TV Bhagyadevatha on Mazhavil Manorama and Moonnumani on Flowers TV. Currently they are settled at Kakkanad, Kochi.

The film begins with the City Police Commissioner Bharath Chandran (Joju George) jumping over the compound wall of a house who is having an affair with house owner's wife. The house owner confronts commissioner and beats and breaks his arm. It then shifts to a man at a friend's house asking where his friend and a don named Jimmy is, as there is work for him to do for the man. He reveals his work is to transport the pirated DVD of the upcoming releasing movie Hotel California and in which Jimmy has to transport it through the airport safely. It once again shifts to Aby Mathew (Shankar Panikkar) a lusting married middle aged man, who contacts a pimp to have sex with a television actress named Swapna Joseph (Honey Rose) who agrees to have sex with him for a large sum of money. Then Sasi Pillai is shown talking about a hot topic for news reporting about the don named Airport Jimmy. In which it shifts to the scene of Airport Jimmy (Jayasurya) in high class bar.

Aazhakadal tells the story of Kunjumon (Kalabhavan Mani), who returns to the beach after 16 years, after serving a sentence for murdering his father Anthony Tharakan (Saikuamr). He returns and become the leader of the fishermen and fights the local seafood king Vakkachan (Vijayaraghavan) with the support of his father's old friends. He also gets love and support from his childhood friend Kochurani (Sruthi Lakshmi). In the end he finds out that Paulachan (Shammi Thilakan) was the man behind all his misery and the murder of his father. He avenges his death and rescues the fishermen.

The hidden secrets of an attempted murder are revealed through portrayal of circumstances that three different girls pass through in their life.
