Sonya Rizvi (born 24 April 1980), better known by her stage name Sonya Jehan is a Pakistani actress. Sonya was born to Jehan-Rizvi family. She is granddaughter of Noor Jehan and Shaukat Hussain Rizvi. She is also the owner of a French restaurant Cafe Flo in Karachi.

Rizwan Khan est un petit garçon musulman qui grandit à Borivali, dans la banlieue de Mumbai (Inde), entouré de l'affection de sa mère. Celle-ci, malgré son comportement déroutant, lui inculque les valeurs de tolérance, d'amour et de justice. Adulte, Rizwan rejoint son frère émigré aux États Unis où sa belle-sœur lui diagnostique un syndrome d'Asperger (l'un des segments du Trouble du spectre de l'autisme). Alors qu'il travaille pour l'entreprise familiale, Rizwan fait la connaissance et tombe amoureux de Mandira, Indienne et hindoue. Malgré la différence de religion, ils se marient et vivent heureux avec le fils que Mandira a eu d'un précédent mariage. Mais après le 11 septembre les choses changent, la famille est en butte à l'ostracisme anti-musulman et, accablée de douleur, Mandira rejette son mari qu'elle rend responsable du drame qui les frappe. Pour reconquérir la femme qu'il aime, Rizwan entreprend un long périple afin de faire savoir à tous que "Son nom est Khan et qu'il n'est pas un terroriste".

The story begins with Shah Jahan, known as Prince Khurram (Zulfikar Sayed) when he is about 19 years old. Khurram was Emperor Jahangir's (Arbaaz Ali) favourite son, whom Jahangir wanted to be the future Emperor of India, along with his wife Noor Jahan (Pooja Batra), who was well aware of this fact. Noor Jahan was married once previously, but when her first husband died, Jahangir married her. Ladli Begum (Kim Sharma) is Noor Jahan's daughter from her first marriage. Noor Jahan is a shrewd lady, who wants the best for herself and her daughter and she aspires for Ladli Begum to marry Prince Khurram so she that she will become the Empress of the Mughal Dynasty.
