Artiste doué et néanmoins dérangé, Sean (Eric Roberts) est un peintre morbide qui s'inspire du souvenir qu'il a du meurtre horrible de sa mère. Lacy (Catherine Oxenberg), une belle marchande d'œuvres, est si fascinée par le travail de Sean qu'elle décide de voyager à travers tout le pays pour lui rendre visite, dans sa petite ville déserte. Elle arrive dans une communauté angoissée par la crainte et la peur, où plusieurs jeunes femmes ont récemment disparu. Tombée sous le charme de l'artiste talentueux, Lacy découvre peu à peu le vrai caractère de Sean, et finit par mettre à jour le pire des secrets : une série de sculptures de glace dans des formes terrifiantes qui n'est autre que la clé des disparitions. Lacy doit alors s'échapper avant de devenir la prochaine victime de Sean.

After many years Pooch returns to his old New York neighborhood and teams up with his old high school friend Big Boy to run the local rackets. While Pooch is undecided about whether he should help them, or help himself, as well as struggling between loyalty and betrayal, the two friends relationship is further tested with an arrival of aspiring-model and pathological-liar Eva, who Pooch meets in a health food restaurant. Both men fall in love with her and it isn't long before all three of them are sleeping together, whilst each have their own agenda.

Jack Elliot, batteur chez les Yankees de New York et ancien vainqueur des séries mondiales de la MLB est depuis quelque temps sur la mauvaise pente. Lors d'un match, alors qu'il venait de se faire sortir sur trois prises, il se voit rappelé par l'arbitre alors qu'il se dirigeait vers le banc. Ne comprenant pas ce qu'il lui arrive, Elliot se replace sur le marbre et le lanceur adverse, lui envoie de nouveau une prise, puis un autre, et encore un… C'est alors qu'il se réveille dans les bras d'une groupie, dans ce qui semble être une chambre universitaire. De retour sur le terrain d'entraînement, il conseille une jeune recrue, de sa phrase fétiche Le baseball, n'est qu'un jeu…, alors que sur le losange, un nouveau joueur expédie à tout-va les balles hors du stade. Voilà que, du fait de ses mauvais résultats, il se retrouve transféré, vers une autre franchise. Elliot, craignant que ce soit le Canadaou Cleveland, tombe des nues lorsqu'on lui apprend qu'il est maintenant un joueur des Nagoya Chunichi Dragons, une équipe de la ligue japonaise de baseball, et ce, jusqu'à ce que sa moyenne au bâton remonte.
