Sachin Pilgaonkar (Marathi: सचिन पिळगावकर; born 17 August 1957), often known by his first name Sachin, is an Indian film and television actor, director, singer, and producer.
Starting as a child actor, in Marathi film, Ha Majha Marg Ekla (1962), he went on to act in around 65 films as a child artist, before switching to adult roles, and giving hits like Geet Gaata Chal (1975), Balika Badhu (1976), Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se (1978), and Nadiya Ke Paar (1982) as a lead actor. He has worked in Hindi, Marathi and also in Bhojpuri cinema, and has acted, produced and directed successful comedy shows on Indian television, including Tu Tu Main Main (2000) and Kadvee Khatti Meethi. Besides that he also directed several hit Marathi films starting with Mai Baap (1982), Navri Mile Navryala (1984), Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi (1988), Amchyasarkhe Aamich (1990) and Navra Mazha Navsacha (2004).

The story takes place in a fictional village called Phulgaon. Gulabrao Kaate is a prestigious member of the village and is into the flower business. That year Gulabrao has won the prestigious "Phoolraja" award but at the award ceremony the trophy is stolen by two thieves Vyankat (Bharat Jadhav) and Nilkantha (Makrand Anaspure). While escaping the scene, Dadu (kushal Badrike) kidnaps and brings them to his hiding place. There he makes them a proposal wherein both Vyankat and Nilkanth have to go to Phulgaon and win a unique game organized in the village called "punya chi chori", in return of huge sum of money. After reaching Phulgaon they first find jobs, Bharat as a greenhouse supervisor and Makrand as a school teacher. Slowly they gain the trust and goodwill of the villagers and convince them to let them participate in the game. Then starts Vyankat's and Nilkanth's long and hilarious journey to win the contest.

Nasik-based Heerendra Dhaan (Ajay Devgan) and Raj Ranade (Prashant Raj Sachdev) are bodyguards of a politician but, after their employer is implicated in a scam, they end up assaulting a police officer and flee to Mumbai. Once there they meet with Rambhabhai (Rajpal Yadav), who in turn, gets them employed with a gangster named Shambhu. After a short while the duo are apprehended by Police Inspector Narsimha, questioned, and after they agree to cooperate to bring down Shambhu, are let go.
