Sally Rosanna Lavelle (born 8 August 1979) better known simply as Rosanna Lavelle, is an English actress. She attended the National Student Theatre in 1997 and then studied at Cambridge University.
Lavelle has won critical praise for her stage roles. She was called the "emotional core" of the 2006 revival of An Inspector Calls. Lavelle's performance as Beatrice in A View from the Bridge with the National Student Drama Festival won a Sunday Times Outstanding Performance Award, Scarborough.
She was working as an English literature and drama teacher at The Henrietta Barnett School, in North London, but has now quit this job to have a baby.
She is currently working at a school in Sheffield as an English teacher.

Bourgade de Noley, Angleterre, 1905. Orpheline de père, fille unique d'une épicière, la jeune Angel Deverell est élevée dans la pauvreté. Sûre d'elle, habitée par le rêve d'une vie fastueuse et romantique, elle écrit des romans à l'eau de rose et refuse un destin de domestique. Quand un éditeur londonien accepte de publier son premier roman, le succès est immédiat. Pourtant, dans son arrogance et son refus de la réalité, Angel ne sait pas voir qu'aux yeux du grand monde, ses goûts clinquants, son manque d'éducation et sa littérature superficielle la condamnent à la marginalité. Grâce à l'enchaînement des succès de librairie, la jeune femme connaît une ascension sociale fulgurante. Sa fortune lui permet d'acquérir Paradise et de s'y installer. Éperdue d'admiration devant le talent et la force de caractère d'Angel, une jeune femme issue d'une grande famille désargentée, Nora Howe-Nevinson lui offre ses services en tant que secrétaire et lui voue une loyauté sans faille. Angel rencontre son frère, Esmé Howe-Nevinson, un peintre sans le sou, et tombe follement amoureuse de lui. Elle est la seule à ne pas voir tout ce qui les sépare : faible, corruptible, joueur, séducteur, Esmé veut peindre la réalité dans toute sa noirceur, même s'il épouse une Angel plus déterminée que jamais à ne se consacrer qu'aux beautés de l'existence.

Sergeant Peter King (Kenneth Cranham) and Private Leslie Cuthbertson (Leo Bill) of the Royal Army Dental Corps passionately desire to see active service, but are held back. Armed with two revolvers and a handful of grenades, they plan an unauthorised mission to occupied France. They write to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, explaining their intention to fight the Germans. After they finally succeed in getting to France, they stumble across a German radar station. They blow up what they take to be the main operations room, and then the entire compound unexpectedly erupts with gunfire and explosions. They narrowly evade the Germans and escape in a boat which is later blown up by a mine; the men are picked up by the British and interrogated as possible spies. Once their identities have been established, they are returned to barracks to be court-martialed as deserters. An aide of Winston Churchill had seen their letter, and knew of a commando raid on the radar facility which was facilitated by a diversion due to mysterious explosions in what they discover was actually the cookhouse. The aide intervenes in the court martial, establishes their presence at the enemy radar station and conveys an invitation to tea with the Prime Minister should they ever be in Whitehall. The court nevertheless demotes Sergeant King to the rank of corporal and remands Private Cuthbertson to military prison for 28 days, lenient sentences for desertion in wartime. A note on screen tells the viewer that the men never meet again.
