Nandalal Krishnamoorthy better known by his stage name Nandu is an Indian film actor primarily working in Malayalam films. Although he has been in the industry for more than 20 years, he is acclaimed for his performance in Mohanlal' s Spirit directed by Ranjith. He was also seen in many Priyadarsan films. He received SIIMA award for best supporting actor,for the movie 'Spirit'.
Nandu is married to Kavitha Nandalal, since 1997. They have a daughter, Nanditha (b. 1999) and a son, Krishpal (b. 2012).

Biographie
Nandu was born in 1965 at Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram, to Krishnamoorthy, a table tennis coach at National Institute of Sports and Sukumari, a singer. He lost his mother 60 days after he was born, and was brought up by his uncle and aunt. His father never remarried, and died while taking table tennis lessons. After completing studies, he went to Chennai (then Madras). His first film was 'Yuvajanolsavam' (1986), directed by Sreekumaran Thampi. Later, he appeared in 'Sarvakalasala' (1987), directed by Venu Nagavally. During his early career, most of his roles were of college background.Nandu is married to Kavitha Nandalal, since 1997. They have a daughter, Nanditha (b. 1999) and a son, Krishpal (b. 2012).

It is a hundred years since Charlie Chaplin, artist nonpareil, appeared on the silver screen mesmerising audiences across the globe. His signature moustache and derby that have left their indelible imprint on the annals of film history. Buddhanum Chaplinum Chirikkunnu is a film that pays homage to Chaplin at the centennial commemoration of his acting career. The film portrays an Indian comedian, Indragupthan, who idolises Chaplin. He believes his life resembles Chaplin's and nurtures the desire to depict his hero on the big screen. However, he rules out a blind imitation of the late legend. The narrative revolves around his disintegrating family life and his quest for true love. The dilemma that ensues is the crux of the story. In the struggle to discover himself Indragupthan is entrapped in a world of make belief. The film is a unique marriage of the serious and the comic - one complementing the other. Indragupthan realises finally that the wheel of life has left him stranded in the twilight zone between real and unreal.

The film is set in a fictitious poverty-ridden village of Gowlipady, which is virtually ruled by the ruthless zamindari Bhandaravathi (Sukanya). Kashi (Nedumudi Venu) is a lottery salesman. He is the only literate person of his village. Once, a lottery sold by him happens to win the first prize of 5 Crore Indian Rupee. Greedy Kashi tries to get back the lottery ticket but doesn't know to whom he has sold the ticket to. So, he conducts a treat exclusive to all those who buys ticket from him and to gain entrance need to give their tickets back. As the treat ends, all the tickets he have sold except one is collected. Later, he comes to know that the one remaining ticket, the same ticket which won the prize, sold to Anthony (Nandu) is still not collected.

The film follows the character of Immanuel who works in a book publishing firm. The plot revolves around the lives of few people around an ancient Syrian church in a Kuttanadan village called Kumarankari. Solomon (Fahadh Faasil) is in love with Shoshanna (Swathi Reddy) who is the daughter of a wealthy contractor. Solomon is the son of a band master who died after a show by drowning. Solomon is a failed band member. Here comes the entry of Fr. Vincent Vattoli (Indrajith) to the church. He learns about the relationship and tries to unite them. It was this time the marriage of Shoshanna gets fixed. Solomon attempts to elope with Shoshanna by taking the help of Fr. Vattoli but in vain. They are caught by their people and beaten up. The people then place a bet in which the Band is asked to win the band competition in which they lost in the previous years. It was said that Shoshanna would be married to Solomon if they win the competition with Solomon leading the band. The band takes intense practices and wins the bet. Solomon gets married to Shoshanna. The next day a call comes to the church informing that the new Priest Fr. Vincent Vattoli is taking charge. The Kumarangiri folks now come to know that Fr. Vincent Vattoli was actually the saint himself who appeared in front of them.

'Nakhangal' tells the tale of three youngsters sharing a rented house. The house belongs to an NRI, whose friend Jeevan (Arun) arranges for the rental. Giri (Rakendu), a driver in a courier company, Jackson (Madan Mohan), a tea estate accountant and Sherin (Megha), a nurse are the youngsters who stay together. A fourth person enters the home and their lives when the rent is increased. He introduces himself as a writer with the pen name Manjila. But is fishy about Manjila who carries a gun with him. The plot thickens when he is found dead from drug overdose and Giri finds a bag of money in the room. There are takers for the money who wants it returned to them. But the three friends decide to keep it for themselves. Meanwhile Sherin is being persuaded by Vinodh, to accept his love for her. The money orchestrates the rest of the story with broken trust, gruesome murders and a suspense ending.
