Manuel Chua (born October 29, 1980) is a Filipino male model and actor.
He was discovered in the Filipino version of the reality game show Pinoy Fear Factor which was aired on ABS-CBN, from November 2008 to February 2009. Hailing from the far-flung land of Nueva Ecija, Chua traveled for 36 hours in an airplane to Argentina where he came face to face with snakes, was dunked into icy cold water, ate all sorts of unnamable foodstuff and became a celebrity. He was just this guy based in Nueva Ecija with a small appliance retail store and a four-year-old daughter, when he was in Argentina with the rest of the contestant, all they had to focus on were the stunts, and their growing competitiveness as more people were sent home. Eventually Manuel was one of the few left, and from the fan posting at the Pinoy Fear Factor Website "SuperManuel" is the favorite to win. Though he did not win as the "El Ultimo Participante" title, he has won the hearts of the many Filipinos who watched the show. And from being the apple of the eye of his large fans, he was given acting break by the Network.
Chua currently is a member of ABS CBN's elite circle of homegrown talents, Star Magic.

With three years of a happy relationship, Mike (Luis Manzano) decided to end his relationship with his gay lover, Lester (Vice Ganda), After their break-up, Lester soon finds out that Mike is cheating with him for the last year with a bank accountant Gemma (Toni Gonzaga). This leads to Lester having a plan to destroy Mike and Gemma's relationship, by acting like a real man and thinking that Mike will come back to him. He commanded his four gay friends and also his workers on his parlor, Babushka (IC Mendoza), Ricky (Lassie Marquez), Fanny (Ricky Rivero) and Bambi (Ricci Chan) to pretend as a group of hold-uppers to hold-up Gemma after her shift. Lester pretends to be her "knight and shining armor" and saves her from the "hold-uppers" (his friends). After the rackus, Gemma took Lester home to bring her to her parents (Boboy Garovillo and Carla Martinez). After a dinner with the rest of Gemma's family, Lester went home. He stopped by his parlor and shocked at his friend's broken faces (the bruises he left after he saved Gemma from them). After they tried to have their revenge on him, he soon apologized and get together again. Gemma called Mike that same evening, telling him that Mike should meet with Lester in order for him to learn martial arts, which he declines. With his family's suffering for poorness, Mike doesn't know where to get money for his and Gemma's wedding. He proposed to Gemma, which caused Lester to have his plan.

They are everyday women who all live in a world where men rule business and women rule the office. Ada is also close friends with Tobz (Carlo Aquino) who is currently having issues with his girlfriend, Wendy (Cristine Reyes) also a busy woman who does not give him time nor pleasure and whose long life goal is to become an actress. While pursuing this, she meets Rodney (Rafael Rosell), who is also an attorney to celebrity plastic surgeon, Dr. Cleo Carillo. One of her clients/friends, Marilou (Ruffa Gutierrez), a beauty queen turned CEO upon the death of her husband, is also having problems with Amanda Dela Vega, her husband's daughter from another woman, and her own daughter, Dara Dela Vega (Bianca King). Dara is a Berkeley graduate who is eager to prove herself at her new job in a television show; she is struggling to manager her issues from home and her issues from her boss, Suzanne (Carmi Martin), Marilou's best friend. Another story follows Theresa (Iza Calzado), a nurse for Dr. Carillo's husband and who is content with her work but struggles to deal with her broken heart.
