Adi Shankara (Kaushik Babu) is born at Kaladi of Kerala state to a Brahmin family. Soon Adi Shankara is born Agni Deva (Tanikella Bharani) says to Rudraksha Rushi (Mohan Babu) that he has only 8 years of life. So Rudraksha Rushi gives 24 years of life to Shankara from his span, at a cycle of every 8 years whenever Shakara's life is in trouble. After his father's death Shankara shows his remarkable power in acquiring mastery over four Vedas at the age of eight. When he is caught by a crocodile in Purna River, he seeks the permission of his mother to become Sanyasi and then only the crocodile leaves him. Reluctantly, his mother accepts his proposal and then the crocodile disappears. In search of a guru, he leaves for North India. Then he finds his guru, Govinda Bhagavatpada (Srihari). The guru teaches him 'Jala Stambhana', 'Agnisthambana','Vaayusthambana' and 'Parakaya Pravesha' (leaving one's own soul and entering others) etc. skills. Soon, Shankara decides to preach his Advaita Vedanta philosophy to the people who are quarreling among themselves in the name of castes and religions. Shankara teaches a lesson to one such person, Kapalikudu (Suman), who is responsible for the quarrels among the people. In another sequence, a Chandala (Nagarjuna Akkineni) proves to Shankara that all the people are equal before god. During his philosophical tour, Shankara gets a chance to debate with Mandana Misra (Sai Kumar). While Misra I about to give up, his wife Ubhaya Bharathi (Kamalinee Mukherjee) challenges Shankara by asking some question on sex and related questions. As he being a Sanyasi, he can't answer her questions. He then asks for a recess of 15 days. He later, do parakaya Pravesha and enters the dead body of a king (Mynampati Sreerama Chandra) then he makes love with the king's wives (Kamna Jethmalani) and learns and gets the answers for the questions posed by Udaya Bharathi. Although being a sage, he performs the rituals of his mother. This factor irks the elders of his religion. However, they repent for their act later. Finally, having occupied 'Sarvagnapeetha' of Kashmir, he gets salvation and disappears in Lord Shiva (Chiranjeevi).

Kamesh (Allari Naresh) and his wife (Hema) become the proud parents of a dynamic and powerful new baby who is born with a six pack body. Just when the baby is born, Thikkal Reddy (Jaya Prakash Reddy) comes in as the villain in search of his enemy who runs into New Born Baby's room. He prays to god to save him and hides in the room. The New Born Baby does urination for a long time which leads to the death of Thikkal Reddy's elder son and he becomes a sworn enemy of the baby. To save the baby from Thikkal Reddy, Kamesh gets his mother (Kovai Sarala) to escape to Hyderabad. Gowri Shankar (Jagapathi Babu) is a circle inspector of Punjagutta and is known as a heavy corrupt police officer. Rangarao (Jeeva) is his assistant and his daughter Sindhu (Vimala Raman) is an aerobics, teacher. Once, two sons of a big industrialist (Prasad Babu) kill two girls for not accepting their love by pouring acid on them. Soon, the two get killed by some unidentified person in the same fashion. The industrialist uses his political influence and gets the case investigated by the CB-CID. The police commissioner (Chalapathi Rao) calls Gowri and tells him to hand over all the evidence to the CB-CID officer (Murali Sharma). Even as the CID officer is investigating, another two persons get murdered in the same fashion. The CID officer makes an in-depth study into the case and finally comes to the conclusion that it is Gowri, who is behind these murders. At this juncture, Gowri leaves for Mumbai and kills some gangsters who were kidnapping and selling young girls and exporting them to other countries. After he kills all the gangsters, the Mumbai police arrest him and keeps him in a jail, where an international terrorist Kasab from Pakistan was placed. The CBI officer gets a doubt and warns the jailer that Gowri intentionally surrendered to the police as he wanted to kill Kasab. What happens next should be seen on-screen.

Ranga Babu (Allari Naresh) is a driver whose childhood friend is Srinivas (Srinivas Avasarala). Kathi Kantharao (Allari Naresh) is the son of a suspended gunman (Dharmavarapu Subramanyam). He is a police constable with two married sisters and another two sisters who are ready for marriage. He has to fulfill the desires of his two greedy brother in laws (Krishna Bhagavaan and Srinivas Reddy) and also search for grooms for his younger sisters. The whole family burden rests on his shoulders. He also signs an agreement with his father stating that he won’t marry until his sisters are happily settled in life. However, he deviates from the agreement by falling in love and eventually marrying a girl called Rathnam (Kamna Jethmalani). He decides to keep it a secret until he fulfills the word given to his father. Due to unexpected circumstances, he reveals his relationship with Rathnam to his boss and sub-inspector Kanakaratnam (Jeeva). In the meantime, one of his sisters falls in love with the IG G.K. Rayudu's (Chalapathi Rao) son, while another loves a constable and Katha Rao's friend Vaasu (Venu Madhav). Kantha Rao manages to settle the marriage of his two younger sisters with the people they love. Kanakaratnam to clear the doubts he has about their relationship goes to Rathnam's home town Vengalappapalem to meet with her father Ringu Raja Rao(Kota Srinivasa Rao). Raaja Rao learning about the marriage from Kanakaratnam goes to Hyderabad to confront his daughter. Kanta Rao manages to reveal the truth to Raja Rao and promises to remarry her with the blessings of his entire family. Ringu Raja Rao wants to become the sarpanch of a village and does all kinds of non-sense to appease the voters. As his opponent Lanka Satish's (Ahuti Prasad) son (Nalla Srinu) marries a foreigner, Raja Rao takes advantage and criticises their entire family for his political gain. After a few days, Kanta Rao convinces his parents and sisters and makes arrangements for his younger sisters marriage too and marries Rathnam. However after the first night, Rathnam unintentionally reveals that she is pregnant. Lanka Satish learns about the pregnancy of Rathnam and defames Raja Rao so that he can win the village elections. With this, the winning chances of Raja Rao as sarpanch turn bleak, and is faced with the dilemma of finding a solution to this critical situation. Kantha Rao faces many troubles and finally solves all his problems and also helps Raja Rao win the village elections.

Sushshu [Sushanth] is a happy-go-lucky college student whose philosophy of life is summed up as Forget Yesterday, Enjoy Today & Worry Not about Tomorrow which keeps him happy but worries his parents to no end. A transfer brings the entire family to Hyderabad where he flips for his college classmate Sneha on day one. A determined Sushanth woos her successfully and we are treated to a couple of songs in the bargain. Now, Sneha's philosophy of life runs totally opposite of Sushanth and very soon reality sets in. His attitude ruins his marriage prospects with Sneha and they end up separating. The second half of the movie is all about how they try to fall out of love while making compromises to their philosophies.
