Kiran Kumar is a Mumbai-based Indian actor. He has worked on many Hindi, Rajasthani and Gujarati films. He has been cast as hero in many of the Gujarati movies. He is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Jeevan.
Kiran is a Kashmiri by birth and has ties with the royal family by virtue of being the grandson of the Vazir-e-Vazarat of Gilgit.
He is a follower of Sai Baba and has a production house named after the saint. Sainama Visions.
Recently he has been honoured with the life membership of the International Film and Television Club of the Asian Academy of Film & Television.
He was one of the first mainstream actors to make the jump from the big screen to TV in 1992 with Sunil Mehta's Ghutan.
Currently one of the highest-paid actors on Indian TV, Kiran was last seen on the silver screen in Born Free Production's Bobby Jasoos. Soham Shah's next release with Sanjay Dutt Sher, (This film is currently stuck in the cans due to Dutt's recent incarceration.) also stars Kiran as the lead antagonist. Apart from social awareness Ad's and smaller independent cinema, he will also be seen in Dharma's next yet untitled project.
He is a member of CINTAA and its core committee. He assisted with the organization of the Star CINTAA superstars ka jalwa, a televised event that brought the entire Hindi film and television industry together to perform and raise funds for CINTAA.

Kiran Kumar is the son of actor Jeevan and is married to a former Gujarati actress Sushma Verma. They have two children. L'histoire commence en pleine bagarre de rue à Bombay. Le président sportif Peter Braganza (Kiran Kumar ) exprime son désir de faire des combats de rue un sport légal et décide d'ouvrir une ligue intitulée Right 2 Fight (R2F). Pendant ce temps, en prison, Garson Fernandes, alias « Gary » (Jackie Shroff), un ancien alcoolique et ancien professionnel d'arts martiaux mixtes (MMA) en réhabilitation, est arrivé au terme de sa peine de prison et son fils cadet Monty (Sidharth Malhotra) vient le chercher. Monty devient tendu lorsque son père demande des nouvelles de son fils aîné David et l'emmène chez lui. Sur place, Gary agit comme protecteur de tous les biens de sa femme Maria, décédée il y a plusieurs années. David (Akshay Kumar), devenu professeur de physique, a une fille souffrant d'une maladie rénale. Incapable de trouver légalement l'argent pour la soigner, il participe à des combats de rue. Living in a middle class orthodox family of Old Hyderabad, Bilqis Ahmed aka Bobby (Vidya Balan) is a wannabe private detective. To pursue her passion of spying, Bobby solves petty neighbourhood cases. Such as helping Tasawur (Ali Fazal) a TV show host, to get rid of marriage proposals brought home by his parents. Sangeeta Pradhan (Kadambari Kadam), a 22-year-old girl who is about to be married in a month, has been admitted to a reputed private hospital in Pune, but is unwilling to sign the consent form. After talking to resident physician Dr. Smita Deshmukh (Mukta Barve) and psychiatrist Dr. Suren (Amol Kolhe), she is convinced to undergo an exploratory surgery on her ovaries. The surgery is to be performed by senior physician Dr. Khurana (Vikram Gokhale) who is also Dr. Smita's mentor. In the operating theater, Dr. Khurana appears distracted and asks Smita to perform the surgery. On first inspection by pathologist Dr. Kende (Arun Nalawade), one of the ovaries is diagnosed to have borderline malignant carcinoma, and no verdict is passed on the second ovary. Dr. Khurana orders Smita to remove both the ovaries, an order she refuses to comply with citing new research in medical journals. This enrages Dr. Khurana and he orders assistant Dr. Budhkar (Shashank Shende) to complete the surgery.
