Khin Than Nu (Burmese: ခင်သန်းနု [kʰɪ̀ɴ θáɴ nṵ]) is a Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards-winning Burmese actress, winning Best Actress in 1967, 1990 and 2000. She was born to U Aung Than and Daw Nu, as the eldest of four children, in Pyinmana, Burma.

She began her career, after winning the 1961 Miss Pyidaungzu Beauty Pageant. Her debut film was Tint Hla Pay Han (တင့်လှပေဟန်), directed by Maung Thin (မောင်သင်).

Khin Than Nu was romantically involved with many well-known actors in the Burmese movie industry, including Shwe Ba, Tin Nyunt, Win Oo, Sein Myint and Myat Lay. In 1975, she married General Maung Maung Khin (မောင်မောင်ခင်), subsequently having two children together.

Aung Win is working in the Construction Department in Yangon. His wife dies and Aung Win is left with their son and daughter. Aung Win wife's sister takes care of the children. When the children are old to attend the school, he is moved to Pyay.

Thingyan Moe is the story of Thingyan. Story begans with a poor pianist Nyein Maung and Khin Khin Htar a wealthy teen girl of Mandalay. Despite the difference between them, they fell in love deeply as so Nyein Maung was asked to elope Htar but failed as his pupil's mother was sick and he headed to hospital with them instead. As per Nyein Maung's absence, Htar was brought back by his mother and forced to accept arrange marriage.
